Vibe Cannabis | Portland Marijuana Dispensary (49th Ave) — Attraction in Portland

I’ve been shopping here recently and every time (~5x) has been a pleasant experience. They offer a great selection of hash oils at prices that are lower than most other dispensaries that carry the same product. That, combined with a decent 15% discount for OLCC card holders makes it a reasonable experience on my wallet. I do not use flower, so I cannot say anything about their selection regarding that. To top it off, every time I’ve been in there, everyone is always really friendly and helpful. And it’s genuine…they aren’t selling you rapport to get you to come back again to get more of your money. They were kind and loving to my dog…it feels like I was visiting friends at the awesome dispensary they work at. At a minimum, check their prices compared to your usual spot…you might just save a few dollars or more. It’s a 50-minute out-of-the-way round trip drive for me, so that should tell you something.

If you happen to place an online order, their system isn’t allowing them to confirm your order is ready for pickup. I was told that if you receive a notice that it is confirmed and being prepared, that that means it is there and ready to be picked up. With it being the long drive for me that it is, I always place online orders so I don’t drive there and them possibly not having what is still shown on the menu. I do this everywhere I go though.

NOTICE: (Read UPDATE first) Their menu system has also been having issues with it displaying the wrong prices…I believe (90% certain) you need to add 20% to the price shown regardless. So, if you switch to “Med” pricing, add 20% to what it shows to get the true medical cost…if it says $27.77 for medical, it is actually $33.33. The same applies with “Rec” pricing…add 20% to what is shown. So if it says $33.33 for Rec, it is actually $40. If you’re at all concerned, just give them a call. Again, they are friendly and seem to be frustratingly aware of the issues with Dutchie, the menu/ordering service they use.

UPDATE 04/18/22: they seem to have their pricing issues resolved with Dutchie. I believe the listed prices for both medical and rec are correct. I am leaving the previous notice just in case it...

I had an extremely weird experience at this dispensary. Asking basic questions of the budtender such as “Where was this grown?” yielded only confusion despite the answers being listed clearly on the package. The budtender seemed to not have much strain knowledge either. The prices were actually quite good on premium prerolls, I could’ve forgiven the confusion.

However, once I left the premises and was more than 10 feet away I decided to smoke in my car, and a budtender came out to awkwardly scold me for it and ask me to put it out. Huge turn off, as the budtender was saying that it was against the OLCC laws to smoke so close to the store, however as someone who works in the cannabis industry I knew I was completely within retailing regulation. Upon bringing this up, he started talking about “disrespect”. Again, I was more than 10 feet from the premises, in my own car. Technically I could’ve gotten a fine from a police officer for consuming cannabis in public, but as I was not on the premises of Vibe this is MY risk and responsibility to assume. Apparently two neighboring shop owners abandoned their shops and ran inside to complain about me to this guy within the two minutes I had my joint lit. In my own car. Yeah right. Call the police if it really bothers you, it’s not the job of the budtenders to lecture customers about disrespect to the business. I’m not at your business anymore.

I won’t be coming back, unfortunately. It’s truly a shame the experience with the budtenders...
