I was here yesterday to pick up a Dairy Queen blizzard cake. I waited longer than expected while holding the cake. There was someone in front of me who was told their Door Dash order was still being prepared. I feel like I could’ve been helped while other employees were preparing orders. They get around to helping me. The gentleman rang me and said the total was $39.02. I mention the sign outside that says $3 off ant DQ cake, as shown in the picture below. He grabs a manager for approval. The guy that comes over had no idea what I was talking about. I repeat that it’s on the sign on the side of the building as you walk in. He grabs a third person. They go look at this sign. I put the cake back because we’re approaching 10 minutes of it being out of the freezer and I didn't know how long they were going to be. They come back in. The third guy says “yeah. The sign isn’t specific. I think that’s an app deal. Do you have the app?” I don’t have the app. The sign doesn’t specify that you need the app for the deal. The guy said something about how it’s not their fault. They don’t put the sign up and that he couldn’t give me the $3 off. I needed the cake. So I just paid full price and left. I wasn’t going to write a review but then I downloaded and checked the app out of curiosity. The app says $2 off a DQ cake. Not even $3. So either way, I wouldn’t have gotten the $3 off. I know it’s just $3. Not a big deal, but it’s the way it was handled and the discrepancy with the app. And the cake ended up having ice chunks...
Read moreProbably the longest I've ever waited in line for fast food considering how few customers there were. I would have left the line ten minutes in had there been a way to do so. There were only 2 people ahead of me (one at the window waiting for food and one at the order speaker), but there was no one taking orders, so the person in front of me was just sitting there waiting. Then when I get up to order, the poor kid taking orders finally couldn't hear anything I said. When I got up to the window, that kid was busy as all get out, but there was a female employee literally just laughing and playing around with the adult who I assumed was the manager (?). He went in the back and I am guessing "made" my food while the drive thru kid/guy took my payment and made my ice cream. The girl kept coming up to the front smiling with her arms crossed, doing absolutely nothing. When I got my rotisserie chicken bites, I drove away. I drove 3 minutes and then ate my chicken. HALF of them were COLD. Not luke warm. Cold. So that's gross, but my dogs enjoyed them.
I think maybe management needs to be more focused on how things are running. Maybe they could have the girl who did nothing ..I don't know... Doing something? Maybe they should make sure the food isn't cold. Maybe they could mind the drive thru instead of having people stuck.
I don't complain about fast food usually because it is what it is, but when there's not a huge line, no one should be waiting fifteen minutes to order. Overall not a...
Read moreIt’s DQ so the food isn’t fancy. The thing I don’t like is when you go through the drive thru and order food , as soon as you pull up to the window they hand you the ice cream. Then you have to wait 5-10 minutes for the food , meanwhile the ice cream is melting. I go through the drive thru for the wife and grand kids and it’s half melted by the time I get back. Also this DQ has to be the slowest one I’ve ever been to. No matter what you order, plan on waiting 10-15 minutes if you go there. I have to but if there was another close I wouldn’t. I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip basket and forgot to ask for an extra honey mustard, when I got to the window I asked politely and she snarled at me and acted like I ruined her day because she had to...
