LOOKING AT THE REVIEWS... I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!
Well, about 3 weeks ago I went to Staples and asked for two black and white copies on regular paper which they usually charge 10 or $0.15 for. ...... I was the only person at the counter, the whole store had no more than three people in it that I could tell from my perspective. ...... I emailed the two black and white $0.33 copies I needed made to their computer and was told bye a very rude " young boy" that there were 20 people ahead of me, and I would get my copies in 24 hours. ..... ( yes this confused me also because there was no one in the store) ..... The rude young boy then proceeded to explain to me that there were other people that had made orders ahead of me online. ..... The rude young boy told me that accept for self-serve no they do not make copies on the spot like that anymore. ...... I called another store and asked if this was true and a very rude manager told me the exact same thing. An added that it doesn't matter if the store is empty if there's 20 people ahead of me online then they go first, and I would have to wait 24 hours for my two 33 Cent black and white copies. ...... I called a third store and ask for a manager. I finally got someone sane. ...... She told me that they very well do copies on the spot they just charge a little extra and she does not know why the two stores treated me the way they did. ...... She assured me that she was going to look into it and asked for my number and said she would have a regional manager call me and welcome me back into the store. ...... This never happened. I never got a call from anyone. ...... Tonight no more than 25 minutes ago I went back to the same store to get to jpg pics printed on glossy paper. ...... The same manager that was there two weeks ago during the first incident is the one that made the copies for me tonight. ( his attitude towards me gave me the feeling that someone definitely talk to him about what happened last time, but I couldn't be sure. ...... When he was done making the copies for me he said for future reference we would not to take emailed in orders. Anymore. ...... I have no idea what is going on with this Staples or Staples in general. ...... But apparently they put online customers ahead of flesh-and-blood customers who walk in their store. ...... I'm going to make one more attempt to find out what's going on. ...... If Staples no longer makes copies for people when they walk in the store and stand in a flesh and blood line. Then I will find someone else who does and launch an online awareness campaign about this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA year ago, I came to this staples to print flyers for an event for my small business. They turned out beautifully so I came back to do a similar flyer. The manager Scott didn't want to help me. He mentioned first off that they were booked until tomorrow, I said that was fine, I didn't need the flyers until Monday. I began emailing the document to them when he looked at my phone and began telling me everything wrong with my flyer. There were no borders and cutting the flyer in 4 would be more expensive than printing a full sheet. He never offered any suggestions on what I could do to improve my flyer so that I could have an affordable flyer. I had no issues a year ago with the exact same flyer so my mind is blown at what the issue could possibly be. I told him that and he still offered no suggestions. I told him I would take my business else where and he said okay. He had no problem not helping me in fact it seemed easier for him. Then on my way out had the nerve to ask me if I found everything else okay. That is when I found out he was the manager! I will never shop here again. This was an awful experience. I went home and talked to my daughter and apparently she had a similar experience when she went to print her wedding invitations. They took their business to a staples in Mesa who actually took the time to help them. What a disappointment!
*I ended up taking my flyers to the Staples on Gilbert Rd and the 202. They did a fantastic job and were extremely helpful! I am so grateful they were able to help my small business get these flyers ready for our big day coming up this next weekend! I highly recommend the Staples on Gilbert even though you may have to drive a little farther. It was worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe copy center here is a complete disaster. I used to periodically print large format here in a pinch but now they insist that we -"submit online". The online submittal DOESN'T WORK and Staples is incapable of receiving an email and pressing the print button as if that's a tough, important and demanding job. I avoid this Staples like the plague because employees are miserable, the managers aren't helpful and the prices are 4 times what I normally pay for print services. IF they agree to price match (which is their policy) they are outright hostile. If you run into a problem here, the manager doesn't listen to your concern, doesn't help you & is rude and seems to be on a weird power trip, as if Staples is his kingdom and he'll be damned if you're going to get what you need. I felt like I was talking to the fairy tale bridge troll, "Who's that shopping in my store?! How dare you!" UPS store has print services & Walmart can fill most of your office supply needs in the area, save yourself the unpleasantness of dealing with Staples QC. If you go here, you should know you'll always be wrong, the manager is an infant and the employees are...
