AR Workshop Raleigh - DIY Craft Studio — Attraction in Raleigh

Did a fun night out with friends at AR workshop. I liked how everything was ready to go when we got there.. our project sitting in our assigned seat with the required materials. You have to choose your project before you arrive. In my case, they customized the design to have our last name on it. Here it is good to pay extra attention because my friends' and my designs were switched (same design, different last names). You can customize your colors, which can be a time-consuming part of the process so try to think about it ahead of time. Actually making the sign was easy and fun, and the staff help you along with what to do when. I had a problem with my stencil (I lost a piece!) and they were helpful to resolve the issue so my project turned out. Had such a fun experience. Had a group of friends come and when we arrived our projects were all laid out for us. It was intriguing to see all the bare wood and a stencil at each place. Then we picked out our paints and stains. The staff was there at each step to show us what to do next and made suggestions if we wanted. They would just show us a technique, demonstrate, (all individually) and then let us do it. This truly was a DIY! I loved to see the progression of our pieces and the final products were great! I arrived at open to celebrate my Grandma’s birthday for a walk-in candle making workshop. Our assistant was kind, however, not very well versed in the steps to create or organized for a smooth workshop.

Please note: Use the glue gun to glue the wick down to the base Bring a pen to write on your label Know the wax takes a while to harden so you may not leave with your candle when the workshop is over.
