The experience of having the manager come to my table mid dining experience and scold my two year old daughter for standing in the high chair to adjust her position before introducing herself to me or my child was stomach turning. Her opening statement, “you need to sit down because I don’t want to do any extra paperwork today, I already do enough”. She continued with variations of this sentence for another 3x until my daughter hid her face into my arms because she felt the uncomfortability of a STRANGER abruptly showing up and attempting to discipline her. The ending sentence was “oh don’t worry we’ll be friends the next time you come in.”
LET THIS BE KNOWN. I, nor my family, will be returning. It is insane and absurd to approach, speak to and attempt to discipline any child that is not yours. This is especially true when you do not know, acknowledge or introduce yourself to their parents or table for that matter. You without knowledge of a child’s behavioral patterns, health concerns or let alone name should respect their parents (your customers) enough to address situations in correct manner.
If your biggest concern is additional paperwork in spite of the customer service you provide to your paterons you SHOULD NOT be considered for nor hold any management...
Read moreI won’t come back to this place. We chose to come here to enjoy brunch for Mother’s Day but received less than. When we were seated, the couple beside us stated that the food was mediocre at best. Well we never got a chance to experience it because they couldn’t get our order right. They mixed up everything single item! So we sent it back. The nice waitress Marlo and manager Heather reassured us that we’ll get our food. Well an entire hour had passed and only 1of 6 of us received their food. It’s also 3 other tables who’s having issues. Rightfully so, we all grew irritated. At this moment, the waitress comes from the back crying. Heather tried to comfort her but to no avail. When we asked what was going on, they said the head lady was there talking to them like trash and causing the ruckus. Well she came out and when we asked about the food, she aggressively stated that she was getting it. She couldn’t explain why it took over an hour for the food and then stated that she’d call the police because she was being questioned. She instantly became a “fragile victim” and wanted us out. No apology on her behalf or anything. I see why her staff called her out of her name because she...
Read moreThe restaurant is new and nice inside. The food was decent but kind of over price for a breakfast restaurant. Our bill was $50+ plus tip for two people and it's not like we ordered steak and eggs or alcohol.
I had the biscuits and Gravy with hash browns, and my wife had a two egg omelet, hash browns, bacon. It was decent.
Borders restaurant in Wake Forest has a more traditional diner delicious breakfast if thats what your craving. Its also low cost. They also have a good Groupon but not fancy inside.
Sundays also don't have many options for gluten free restrictions so my wife had to order her breakfast from the sides menu to make something. Even their grits had gluten in it from the spices they used.
Many places, grits are gluten free. It's not hard to make gluten free option but they do have many alcohol options. They use to be Pickle Pub and they still have the bar station in the restaurant. As Forest Gump would say, "that's all that I have to say...
