Fiesta Mexicana — Restaurant in Raleigh

I ate lunch here yesterday and the food was good; not phenomenal but good.

I had a gripe in that the waitresses were flirting loudly with a large group of Spanish-speaking men who had eaten lunch there, setting up dates to go dancing and getting phone numbers from the guys they liked. I don't expect to see that kind of behavior in a professional restaurant; sometimes I overlook rowdy behavior or language when I know that people don't know that I speak fluent Spanish; however, I spoke Spanish to everyone who came to my table so they all knew I understood them. One of the waitresses was being teased by the other, and she was uncomfortable about being put on the spot, but the other waitress would not take a hint. That made me uncomfortable for the "chaparrita," the waitress who was trying to behave modestly.

I was already annoyed by all this when I went to pay at the cash register, and got even more annoyed when the person ringing me up started flirting with ME. Perhaps this is a way to increase one's tip income, but I do not appreciate when wait staff don't observe proper etiquette and boundaries when dealing with...

Slowest service ever! Told them we were headed to a movie, didn't make a difference. All we ordered were drinks and apps and it took longer than most places we've visited for dinner. Got seated quickly, approached slowly...got waters and waitress didn't return. Our order was taken by someone else bc I kept looking around. Food came out in a decent time but after all it was only guac dip, a guac salad and an appetizer fiesta potato. Waitress came back to ask what glass of wine I had ordered and brought food. We ate and never saw her again. Another waiter brought our to go box and we had to wait at the front for our check even though she sat there and watched us get up. She went from taking orders at one table, directly to another, ignoring me completely. Then explained to yet another person what my order was to get my check and was overcharged for the wine which was on special today. I didn't have time to argue the point as I was already late for my movie by this point so needless to say it came out of her tip. Food was no where near good enough to offset our experience. We...

This place is pretty disappointing. Went with the family, there were 4 of us. We are not snobs by any stretch but beyond what can only be considered mediocre food at best the service was just horrible.

We ordered the Natcho Appitiser .. Don't waste your money. I ordered a beer and the rest of family had water. Here is where the real disappointment starts.

We have to ask for silverware. When the Appitiser dishes come they are soaking wet, and I am handed a stack of 4 to distribute to the family, that is after I went to the server stand and got extra napkins to dry the dishes.

We are 3/4 thru the Appitiser when the dinners show up.. (sorry forgot to mention the booth tables are really small NG for 4 people) There are now plates and food everywhere, and the waiter is now stacking the plates on the table. I ended up taking the Appitiser plates and putting them on an empty table along with my empty beer bottle which the waiter also never came to clear either.

You all get the idea I don't need to ramble any longer.
