Garner Appliance & Mattress - North Raleigh — Attraction in Raleigh

We have been searching for a local appliance store forever, and boy did we hit the jackpot with Garner appliance. Preston and Simon provided outstanding service through the whole process. There was no pressure, just honest and knowledgeable information.

We purchased a Speed Queen, washer, and dryer set, which has far exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our clothes have never been so clean, and I know that sounds crazy… how much of a difference can a washer make? Wow. What a difference. My only regret is that I didn’t know about Speed Queen 30 years ago!

We also purchased a GE oven range (that was priced less than Home Depot if I remember correctly), but with the bonus of the top notch service of Garner appliance.

As I have mentioned our experience to friends and neighbors, it seems everyone knew about them but me! Everyone has had nothing but glowing recommendations for Garner.

Finally, their delivery guys are employed in-house by Garner, they are not random independent contractors, and they are PROFESSIONALS.

They moved and installed three very heavy appliances into my home with extreme care and precision. They took their time and did it right.

I can’t recommend Garner highly enough. The quality of the appliances available is superior and the sales team is well educated on everything they offer. They will be our go-to for as long as I need appliances...

Our experience with GA&M was wonderful. My overall experience was much welcomed after having a bad experience (for over 8 months) with a particular brand of fridge for our business office. (Not purchased from GA&M). We had three separate fridges delivered, all experiencing the same malfunctions thus causing much frustration. Thank goodness we were able to get a full refund and now we needed to get a new fridge.

We are strong advocates about spending our local dollars with local vendors. Our decision to use GA&M was based on working with a locally owned and operated company that would give you their undivided attention, etc. Simon did just that. His knowledge of their products was well received and welcoming. He made the entire process easy; he followed through and was very detailed in the costs involved and delivery. He even took the time to discuss washer and dryers (at my request) as I will soon need them for my residence. The two delivery guys were also great.

After purchasing, I realized that several people I know, too, have purchased from GA&M. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you, GA&M, for coming to the rescue... we should have done this at the beginning of our office...

Nice showroom, sales person was apparently part of the family that owns the business. He was polite and easy to work with. Showroom was nice, large, and seemed to have a variety of styles and manufacturers. The variety of options certainly gave us other ideas for future use possibilities. We will consider them first before a big box store when we next need another appliance.

They outsource their deliveries and installs which I see as a negative, although the install person was courteous and good at his install so no complaints with him. When it was time to schedule a day for delivery I received a text, no phone call which I would have preferred. After texting back and asking for a call back, I did receive a call the next day with limited options for delivery days and times. Install price was fair although no price was quoted in advance, only a range. They will take your old appliances away for...
