There are a few stores I frequent often, Tuesdays Mornings, Sally's, Dollar Tree, and BJ's. All of the mentioned, alwys provid me with great service. The employees are very helpful. I love that BJ's has a deli counter, and the meats are very reasonable. The rotisserie chicken is fantastic. BJ's is a happy medium between Sams a d Costco, with reasonably priced gas too! This Dollar Tree is tidy and the employees are pleasant. Mina and Jim are the nicest people! The people at Tuesday Morning are helpful. The items in there are beautiful. Pho 9's Pho is yummy. I have not eaten anything else from there. The new Burlington is NICE! The employees were helpful and extremely courteous at my recent visits. Oh I can't forget Sweet Frog. It's because of SF, I love frozen yogurt. My teens want to go there every chance they can. The new party plan place next to Sweet Frog, is nice. I was able to speak to the owner, she was very pleasant. The displays in the party planning store were pretty. One great aspect of the store, is they have nice event space in the back of the store. BTW they do balloon art! The Tmobile employees are very professional at this location. I cannot say that for other locations.... Rainbow has up to date fashions. I always check out their sandals in the beginning of the season. They have the cuties styles for the summer and the price is right to purchase several pair. Big Lots never disappoints! I think that's all the places I frequent in PP.. I will add that I shop in this area a few...
Read moreThis shopping center is essentially the one that's never materialized to its full potential.
Developed after Triangle Town Center was completed, this shopping center originally housed a Circuit City, BJ's Wholesale Club, Marshall's, and ROSS.
A variety of smaller shops were supposed to fill in the mixed-use development. After its opening in 2005, things rapidly diminished in the center. The impact of the "Great Recession" beginning in 2008 decimated the center. Circuit City liquidated in 2009, and many of the small shops planned never materialized.
Today, the center survives with its original anchor, BJ's. Circuit City was replaced by Big Lots! While both Marshall's, Office Max, and ROSS departed the center.
A Dollar Tree, Tuesday Morning, and Lifetime Fitness are some of the merchants which fill in this sparsely used center.
The site derives its name from the former "Plantation Inn" -- a former luxury motel site used as a popular wedding and banquet facility dating back to the 50s. Closed in 2000, the one-time tourist destination was finally demolished to make way for what was supposed to be a shopping mecca due to the construction and opening of...
Read moreI go here a lot, but its mostly because of the Lifetime Fitness that’s there. There are more shoppes opening up around and some that have been there for a while. BJ’s is pretty sweet, especially because it’s right in the middle of town so you’re not having to drive very far like Costco. You do need a membership though. I’ve visited the computer repair place around there and there is a newly opened up pet salon/ hotel that I see a fair amount of people walking into. Although that Plantation point has been there for a while, I see it as not being fully established as you see a lot of companies just starting to open up and its never really full. I got there a lot for the gym but I still can’t really tell you what is in there because its kinds big and everything is...
