My extreme disappointment with the service I received at the Sunglass Hut in North Hills. A gift was purchased for me for in-store pickup on the 23rd, and I never received any notification that the order was ready.
On the 24th, I had to call the store myself, only to be met with nothing but rudeness. Despite the lack of communication, I was told I could pick up my order at any time. When I arrived at the store around 4:30 PM, well within business hours, I was shocked to find a "bathroom break" sign on the door. I waited for over 30 minutes, watching an employee leave and then run back inside, only to have the doors immediately locked again.
I called the store multiple times and was eventually told by an employee that they could not help me because they were in a meeting, which is an unacceptable excuse during operating hours. Only after I insisted on getting my order was I told they would "make an exception" to bring it out to me.
The final interaction was the most insulting. The employee who brought out my purchase offered no apology for the wait or the terrible experience. He simply handed me the item, waved his hand to shoo me away, and then immediately slammed and locked the door.
