We made reservations and very happy that we did since when we walked in there were several people waiting to be seated. It was very busy. This was the place to be. It is in an upscale location and looks upscale when you walk in but there is no dress code. We saw people in t-shirts, business shirts/suits, shorts, jeans, wearing hats, etc. A 50/50 mixture. Pricing was on the lower end compared to the other restaurants that were upscale that we have eaten in the last year. We received bread and butter as a freebie. It was good. He ordered the chicken tortilla soup, american kobe beef meatloaf, spiced pecan green beans (it came with the dish), and southwest au gratin potatoes. He loved all of his food and would get it again. I tried the meatloaf and it was really moist and yummy. I do not care for mushrooms but sometimes I do like a good mushroom sauce and this was a strong mushroom taste but not too much for me with a little piece of meatloaf. The green beans were delish as well. Their steaks are aged 21 days and hand-cut daily. I love filet mignon so that is what I ordered, the 9oz filet mignon wrapped in applewood-smoked bacon. The filet was cooked to perfection the way I ordered it. The steak was delicious. The majority of the bacon around the filet was a bit too fatty for my taste but this is common when I have ordered filet mignons that were bacon-wrapped. It is just the norm in my experience so I did not figure that into my review ratings. The good pieces of the bacon were really delicious though. I got a side of parmesan mashed potatoes with the steak which were great and I got a side of tator tots and asked if they could add cheese and bacon to it. It was melted cheddar cheese sauce. These were the best tator tots w/bacon and cheese I have ever eaten. They did these right. So right. So yummy. We were too full from dinner to eat dessert right away so we did not get any. We plan to get it next time we visit. We will be back! I am bad with names but our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items we had questions about. We received great service and our drinks were never empty. It is very clean in the restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, it is a bit louder but we didn't care about it since we still were able to hear each other talk without yelling, and the brickwork was cool-looking. For the prices this place has excellent food. Date of visit: March 2019

Review for December 21, 2023 Visit: 5 Stars My children, a friend of mine, and I went to this restaurant to have an end of year celebration. We had reservations and were seated right away upon arrival. We were happy to have had reservations because it was packed. The restaurant was busy and had a fast-paced environment. The ambience was nice. It was a little noisy but nothing unbearable. Our server, Ryan, was professional and per our request gave us recommendations on items to choose. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. Although he was very busy, he still took the necessary time to ensure that all of his customers were doing okay. We all ordered different entrées on the menu, and we also ordered desserts. All entrées were scrumptious! We enjoyed every bit of all items ordered. We sampled each other's dishes so that we could try the different entrées. My absolute favorite entrée was the one with the Sea Bass. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. It practically melted in my mouth. The lemon cake was my favorite dessert Everyone enjoyed their food, and the atmosphere was wonderful for our celebration. We had an awesome visit and will be back. _____________________________________ Review for October 5, 2022 Visit: 4 Stars A friend and I decided to meet for lunch at this restaurant today. We made reservations and was able to be seated right away upon arrival. Our hostess was friendly, professional, and patient. We took a little while to decide on what we wanted to eat. Our hostess maintained a great attitude, and took our orders with a smile. Our orders came out within maybe 20 minutes or so. Everything tasted great. My salmon was tender, moist, and delicious. The mushrooms had a great flavor. I really enjoyed them. The vegetables were good, but they were a bit too al dente. We had a nice experience overall.

Great steak! The food was excellent. We had a couple of steaks and a salmon entree. All were excellent. The salad was also delicious and fresh. I had the BLT salad, it was fantastic. I ordered the ribeye steak and it had just enough fat for flavor, with ample steak left for eating! It was not overseasoned and was done to the perfect temperature as I ordered. No complaints at all about the steak at this place We also had dessert. The lemon cake was flavorful and delicious. It came in a very large portion. So one to share would be plenty. The bar area is actually very nice as well. Seems popular. Lots of good sightseeing (assuming you like people watching) as well as a good place for a conversation. The service was very good. The servers and host of staff are all nice and polite, but more reserved than some other places. Nothing wrong with it just an observation. The atmosphere is upscale dining. Lots of date night vibe. Several business dinners. There's a nice level of conversation but not too noisy to talk. There is an outside seating area but it was a little warm for that! The place is hopping, and I would probably recommend reservations on a weekend. Parking could be a challenge during the weekend or primetime. The parking gods smiled upon us...We parked on street just around the corner. Great place for a date or a business dinner for sure!

Sometime in the summer past, we wanted to eat here. It was a spur of the moment lunch decision and both the wait and line were too long for our immediate hunger. It took us a while to get back around that area but when we did we made sure to make reservations. I would recommend anyone wanting to dine there to do the same. We walked in and the place was just as busy at dinner. I overheard a group that did not make a reservation and their wait was about 45 minutes to an hou.r We were greeted once we came in by two friendly faces. Our reservation was confirmed and the wait was around 10 minutes. Our table was in the middle of the dining area so we asked for a booth. We were accommodated without issue. Our waitress was very nice and even exchanged a few jokes along with us. I was teasing my wife about the etiquette of double dipping into the ranch dressing when we were eating our appetizer - the ranch rings. I must say they were pretty tasty. Not greasy at all and definitely a large serving for two. Dinner did not disappoint. Both meals were tasty and there were no complaints from our stomachs. In fact the servings were plentiful to the point where we had no room for dessert. It just makes an excuse for us to go back another time. I definitely would recommend this place.

I will start by saying the atmosphere is lovely! We made reservations, so the wait time upon entry was smooth and the customer service was great. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice, however the food was a bit of a disappointment. The lobster dip was okay at best, but the wings and Philly steak egg rolls were hot and fresh and tasted really good! I got the 3 course meal, which was a good deal for all that you get. The chilli was good, I feel like it needed a hint of sugar to tone down the acidity, but that's a personal opinion. The entree was no good at all and that was very disappointing. The cilantro chicken (the cilantro leaf on top of the chicken was the only thing that gave it that name bc there was no cilantro flavor whatsoever) was overcooked (left a burnt taste, not wood fired) and underseasoned. The flavor was in the sauce under the chicken and the broccoli was a little too crunchy for my liking and unseasoned as well. The mashed potatoes were pretty good and the cheesecake was just okay. Overall, the prices just didn't reflect the quality of the food and that is very disappointing. After a $500+ bill (excluding gratuity), I doubt I'd eat here again.

Not sure if we were racially discriminated against or if the service here is just bad? This weekend was my 1st & last time here— walked in, there were 2 counters, didn’t know which was to go or host.(there was a blonde girl far from the door) we waited about 3-5 mins to be greeted, so i asked the blonde girl do we come to her to be seated. She nodded her head yes, I said hi & I asked how she was and she never spoke, just gave a fake smile and nodded. literally. Even after the busser told us to follow him, I told the girl thank you and got an “mhmm”. After sitting my date & I immediately agreed that she was weird. Our server was polite when she came to the table but I could tell they gave her a table far from her section as we could never see or find her. She didn’t remember bread until she brought our entrees when I asked my date if he still wanted bread. Also refills took a while to come. Food was good but the service will ruin the experience. Go here if you don’t mind being passive aggressive all evening!
