ArtSource Fine Art & Framing — Attraction in Raleigh

I really do hate to leave this review but I feel it's necessary. I had been wishing to see this store for awhile and over the past week I stopped in looking for Christmas gifts. I was the only customer in the store the entire time I was in the store. There were a minimum of four different employees I saw. In the five minutes I was in the store (not a huge store) not one employee said hi, acknowledged me, or even nodded in my direction. Talk about not feeling welcomed. For what it's worth I was dressed very appropriately for walking into an art gallery so I don't think it was a matter of ignoring the weird looking man until he leaves. Ever in my life have I need treated more rudely in a shop as Margaret treated me yesterday. I came to North Hills for 2 days to specifically shop for frames/shadow boxes for some prices I am working on. She told me several times “that one is expensive” and “have you tried Micheals”. With a 15k budget for the items I was looking for she would not even give me a quote. My wife and I visited the store for the first time a few days ago and loved all the merchandise. All the artists on display are residents of NC, so buying from ArtSource helps the local area art community. Our sales associate Anne was kind and patient with us, and treated us with courtesy and professionalism. We walked out with several pieces at what I consider to be a fair price.
