Let me tell you today what an experience I had the Ben & Jerry location at North Hills Raleigh Nc.

Kirena and Larry was outstanding! Superb customer service and greeated me and engaged me with tact, professionalism and gave me a world class experience that only those individuals who have been in the customer service game can do to make each guest feel welcomed and special. I was undecided on what ice cream flavor to have and Kirena made some really awesome ice cream suggestions - I ended up with Americone Dream. It was a perfect way to end my day with my son who’s in the Air Force and back home from Germany. Also, Mr. Larry was great and gave us a warm welcome and urged us to come back again and they felt like family and more than young people serving ice cream. In this day and age where we hear so many negative comments and words about those in customer service and hospitality, my hat goes off to these fine young people for a job well done and the atmosphere they create for the customer! It was the very FIRST of many Ben & Jerry’s locations I visited where I felt like I was at home with family sharing a cone rather than in a mere ice cream shop. There were other workers who also greeted my son and I. Please give them a round of applause, a special token of appreciation, and ensure they receive the recognition from the corporate office they duly deserve!

Have an awesome day guys! Keep doing what you do and do it well 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✨💯

I will be sending all my colleagues, Greek family and family here to patronize...

TL-DR: Raleigh moms: not for kids.

What is up with this Ben & Jerry’s? I was charged $17.97 for two scoops of ice cream in 2 cups. Not two smalls—literally two scoops. I had a 2 year old and 4 year old and was buying for them.

I questioned it and was told that was “the price for two smalls.” When I asked why it was that expensive for one scoop, she said the price was for a small — two scoops. I pointed out that they didn’t get two scoops each, they got one and she just shrugged and turned away. Figured it wasn’t worth getting upset over, but do want to give other parents/caretakers a heads up.

I got one small in two cups. Next time, I will specifically order it this way, or as 2 scoops in one bowl and shovel it out myself OR better yet, pop 3 shops down to bartaco and get a scoop there where they are more kid friendly. For that price, I’d rather hike over to Jeni’s or two roosters. If you have kids, just be aware.

And also fair to point out, this is my second time being charged this way and a nanny there with a 4 year old was billed the same way. So this isn’t me-specific — it’s the way they treat everyone.

Gave 2 stars because my kids adore...

Extremely unwelcoming experience. This was my first time visiting and I ordered an ice cream cone for my daughter and asked for a kids cone and the lady taking our order gave me this rude look and said they don’t have kids size they just have small and large to which I replied I’ll have the small then (obviously could have just put 2 and 2 together instead of being rude) then I asked to try a couple samples and she gave them to me but seemed bothered that I was asking to try samples. Then I ordered an ice cream waffle cone bowl and she rudely asked me which flavor after I already told her. The total came out to $23 which I was shocked but at that point I was just ready to get the hell out of there because of how awkward and unwelcomed I felt with this whole interaction so I paid the $23 and didn’t leave a tip bc of how rude I was being serviced to which she then said “I hope you have a great day” in a rude sarcastic way. If you want to be over charged and treated rudely then by all means visit this...

Ice cream purchased at Ben and Jerry's funds their "social justice" projects. For example, on the 4th of July, they used their platform to tell Americans "The US was founded on stolen Indigenous land". Yet, B&J owns land Indian that tribes claim is theirs, and the company has not given it back. What's up with that? I personally find it absolutely sickening a company would attempt to make Americans feel bad on the 4th of July, and I think more people need to be aware of this. As a past customer of this location: The local franchise owner could be a wonderful person. But, I now visit a different establishment with local, homemade ice cream. And IMO it tastes better. I won't be back. Ever.

Rude. My young daughter didn't like the texture of the wooden spoon, so I went back in while the rest of my family was still ordering to get them to put it on a cone instead. The guy made another cone and told me to throw away the first one that was in the cup. The girl then says that we still have to pay for both because they can't take the cup back. I said that wasn't what I asked for. I just wanted a sugar cone and I could have put it in. She didn't say anything else because she knew I was mad but still charged for it. The guy was extremely impatient while my 7 year old son was trying to decide. Overall disappointed with the visit. The one on Hillsborough is so much friendlier.

Went to renaissance hotel and this place is conveniently located next to the hotel. Lots and lots of shops in this area .. love the vibe in and around this place . Lots of space outside to sit and eat and they had some space inside .. parking is crazy . Tough to get parking closer to this ice cream shop. We had to park 5 mins away and walk to this place . My kid liked the ice cream . Lots of flavors and it tastes fresh and good. A little bit pricey but ok , once in a while . They give in cup, cones or waffle cones . They also make shakes . It tasted good. .. like it overall … 4 stars !
