Let me tell you today what an experience I had the Ben & Jerry location at North Hills Raleigh Nc.
Kirena and Larry was outstanding! Superb customer service and greeated me and engaged me with tact, professionalism and gave me a world class experience that only those individuals who have been in the customer service game can do to make each guest feel welcomed and special. I was undecided on what ice cream flavor to have and Kirena made some really awesome ice cream suggestions - I ended up with Americone Dream. It was a perfect way to end my day with my son who’s in the Air Force and back home from Germany. Also, Mr. Larry was great and gave us a warm welcome and urged us to come back again and they felt like family and more than young people serving ice cream. In this day and age where we hear so many negative comments and words about those in customer service and hospitality, my hat goes off to these fine young people for a job well done and the atmosphere they create for the customer! It was the very FIRST of many Ben & Jerry’s locations I visited where I felt like I was at home with family sharing a cone rather than in a mere ice cream shop. There were other workers who also greeted my son and I. Please give them a round of applause, a special token of appreciation, and ensure they receive the recognition from the corporate office they duly deserve!
Have an awesome day guys! Keep doing what you do and do it well 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✨💯

What is up with this Ben & Jerry’s? I was charged $17.97 for two scoops of ice cream in 2 cups. Not two smalls—literally two scoops. I had a 2 year old and 4 year old and was buying for them.
I questioned it and was told that was “the price for two smalls.” When I asked why it was that expensive for one scoop, she said the price was for a small — two scoops. I pointed out that they didn’t get two scoops each, they got one and she just shrugged and turned away. Figured it wasn’t worth getting upset over, but do want to give other parents/caretakers a heads up.
I got one small in two cups. Next time, I will specifically order it this way, or as 2 scoops in one bowl and shovel it out myself OR better yet, pop 3 shops down to bartaco and get a scoop there where they are more kid friendly. For that price, I’d rather hike over to Jeni’s or two roosters. If you have kids, just be aware.
And also fair to point out, this is my second time being charged this way and a nanny there with a 4 year old was billed the same way. So this isn’t me-specific — it’s the way they treat everyone.

Read moreExtremely unwelcoming experience. This was my first time visiting and I ordered an ice cream cone for my daughter and asked for a kids cone and the lady taking our order gave me this rude look and said they don’t have kids size they just have small and large to which I replied I’ll have the small then (obviously could have just put 2 and 2 together instead of being rude) then I asked to try a couple samples and she gave them to me but seemed bothered that I was asking to try samples. Then I ordered an ice cream waffle cone bowl and she rudely asked me which flavor after I already told her. The total came out to $23 which I was shocked but at that point I was just ready to get the hell out of there because of how awkward and unwelcomed I felt with this whole interaction so I paid the $23 and didn’t leave a tip bc of how rude I was being serviced to which she then said “I hope you have a great day” in a rude sarcastic way. If you want to be over charged and treated rudely then by all means visit this...
