It honestly pains me to write this review, because I had high hopes for this bakery but they completely and utterly failed.I began planning out a military themed cake 6 weeks in advance. I corresponded with Edible Art, and showed several pictures of what I wanted. Five weeks prior to needing the cake completed, I stopped by, went over my request one last time and placed the order. The original order was under $100 (it was $95), in which case Edible Art does not require you to pay half because it isn't over $100. Moreover, I still paid half to reiterate my seriousness and appreciation for them taking on the small task of an 8 inch round military cake for a very important person & occasion. The pick up day arrived last Thursday, March 30 and I was so excited to see the cake however I had a feeling I should ask for photos prior to picking it up in case something was incorrect- therefore I went with my gut instinct, and boy am I glad I did. I called, requested photos, and shortly after received an email. I opened the e-mail and was shocked at the poor quality and what appeared to be a cake thrown together last minute. This disappointment came about due to the photos on the website, showing the ability and talent Edible Art chooses to instill in some and not all of their orders. Specifically, the huge fondant flag had 5 stripes, which looked identical to fruit roll ups. It was awful looking. Furthermore, the camouflage border was hideous. It looked like M&M's stuck around the bottom. The cursive hand writing was not professional looking, and lastly, the cake was not even centered on the cake board. I returned to Edible Art's website, because I was honestly flabbergasted at the quality, well lack of, in my cake and KNEW for certain I had seen beautiful work on their website inclusive of an American flag I distinctly remember being exactly what I wanted. My disappointed was conveyed, civilly, via email to the two young girls who work at the bakery. I was not rude, demanding, or curt, because I knew they were not the cake decorator and it wasn't fair to them for me to lash out. I begin asking for the modifications to be made. I was at work, unable to call so I asked my mother to call on my behalf and emailed them to let them know she would convey my concerns. The modifications were made to the flag, which was one of my largest concerns but I was then told it was too late to fix the "camo" border, and was also told the girl would be leaving soon which to me, was very unprofessional considering it was apparent customer satisfaction had not been received on this order and "leaving" meant she could care less. Furthermore, we requested the Army symbol be added because the cake was so odd looking and thrown together. Then, whomever was responding on the email had the audacity to tell me it would cost an additional $15 to add the image. The image was not even fully on the cake, it looked like a faded imagine printed on a piece of paper just stuck to the side. First and foremost, Edible Art, learn the importance of customer satisfaction. Instead of charging extra, to now make this a nearly $115 cake, your bakery should have sought out to remedy the situation they created. I emphasized the importance of fulfilling my request 100%, and what I in turn received was what appeared to be a product of a beginner in fondant and cake decorating. To add insult to injury, the cake tasted horrible. It was dry, and was not enjoyed by any of the guests. You can imagine how mortified I was at this point with the experience I had with Edible Art. Additionally, it appears you all have had several complaints & issues in recent months which should be alarming to all parties involved. My order could have easily turned into repeat business, a future wedding cake, birthday cakes, etc. However, instead I would like to express my dissatisfaction and warn future buyers of this bakery. Perhaps had my order been more expensive, it would have been taken seriously. Nevertheless, Caveat Emptor.

I ordered a cake from Edible Art for my wedding day on 10/14/17. From the very beginning, a wedding cake was, in my opinion, one of the most important things at a wedding and so it was a giant leap for me to trust someone with this important of a detail. My first experience at Edible Art was with Todd Mozingo, the owner. He conducted a cake tasting for myself, my mother, and my mother in-law. The cake tasting was very professional and we were given all available options. Not to mention, it was delicious! Todd took the time to sit down with me and discuss things i wanted, what i didn't want, and even helped me "build" and "size" my own cake to my visual preference, as well as what would serve my number of guests most appropriately. When i left my appointment, i felt totally confident in Edible Art and their abilities to design the cake of my dreams. After i left my appointment, I had a question and emailed Todd. He responded within hours, and i really appreciated the responsiveness. (if you are a bride, you know what i'm talking about) It was a relief for me to not have to worry about my cake during the stressful wedding planning process, and I knew in my heart that it would be delivered to my venue without any hiccups. (again- if you are a bride you know what i'm talking about) When i first laid eyes on my cake i wanted to burst into tears because it was EXACTLY what i wanted, and what i had envisioned. This picture honestly doesn't do it justice, but i am waiting on my professional ones. Every guest at my wedding raved and raved about how delicious and beautiful the cake was which made me extremely proud. I am so grateful I chose Edible Art as my cake vendor for my special day. This was a once in a lifetime occasion for me and their entire staff that participated in the design of my cake helped make my dreams come true on my best day ever! I will definitely be ordering more cakes from Edible Art for any occasion that I can find an excuse for a cake :) and I will continue to recommend them to all my friends. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I am so disappointed and upset. The day I called to order a cake the lady was only focused on how many pieces did I want . I am not sure how many do I choose from she was 20, 30, 40, etc. I say ok 20 kids 20 parents let’s do 40. Than boom she asked me what card I want to use. She does not know my name or my daughters name or anything about the cake. The only reason I proceeded and didn’t hang up was because I did my son’s cake there before and the cake was terrific. Finally after paying I began explaining what I want I don’t think she listened at all bc I told her I wanted red and purple infusions with pink an so forth for the mane that would down the whole cake. I would try to find a picture to show but thst is what I want. She assured me no problem so I found a similar picture for an idea and I can’t believe it they only did the picture did not do any colors I said or even typed in the email. This is not customer service. I am so unhappy I would not recommend a cake unless you don’t care how it looks. The mane looks way too short and I told everyone the cake will be to die for. Understand my review and my disappointment I spent over $300 and the only thing I got was a unicorn not my colors.

This place has beautiful cakes but their customer service is lacking. I ordered four cakes from them for my kids birthdays over a period of a month, I did it all through email so there would be written documentation of pricing and details well in advance. They changed the price on me several times without details to the cakes changing. It seems as if they get a few extra bucks out of people where they can because they know people won’t question a few bucks over it. The first set of cakes in May were around 225 for 3 cakes, and the second cake in June was 200. I paid a deposit of $225 as 50% was due, assuming they would apply half to the June cakes and the rest to the May cakes so I would owe a solid 100 on both at pickup. On pickup of the May cakes, they stated I owed closer to 120, in which I asked if the 125 could be applied so I could only pay 100 and then owe 100 also at the next pickup. They refused to do this. If I’m paying more than half which is what’s required for deposit, I should get the say in where the extra I paid gets applied. Paying this left a balance of 86 dollars for the cake in June. I confirmed that ok, if I pay this much now - that will leave me only owing 86 for the June cake. I had emails with documentation showing what was owed and what was paid. Prior to pickup of the June cake I paid the entire remaining balance online and emailed them letting them know, to make pickup quicker as it was already rushed to pickup in time for the party that afternoon. They emailed back saying that I would still owe 3 dollars. When I asked where the extra $3 came from, they couldn’t give me an answer. Upon pickup, the younger woman was extremely rude about the 3 dollar balance (that I didn’t owe to begin with, emails of total balance would prove that). I didn’t question it and just paid. Also, they messed up my sons smash cakes and wouldn’t own up to it. I asked for different shades of green polka dots and borders to be added. The color scheme was green. After picking up, I realized the borders were white. Which was already strange being that the cake was white, why put borders that can’t even be seen being that they’re the same color of the cake? I went back and checked my email and verified where I asked for green borders, and in the checklist response - she confirmed different shades of green polka dots and borders to match the color theme. I called and pointed this out, in which she denied it stating it doesn’t specify the color - when you can look through the email and see where I specifically asked for green. They didn’t offer to have me come back in and fix them, or to discount off the next cake. Being that I was spending almost 500 on 4 cakes, if they weren’t willing to fix their mistake (or at least own up to it and apologize), they could have added a few bucks for the 200 I was spending the following month on a large cake to feed 40 people. Unless you specify every detail, they’ll also leave everything extremely plain. My sons 8 inch cake was supposed to be a dinosaur theme, and although it did have candied rocks, the entire rest of the cake was completely plain white. Being that it went up $100 dollars for that little bit of decoration, they could have done better. Not overly pleased with this place. I feel like we could have gotten better decorated cakes from Walmart for...

My experience with Edible Arts was a 5+++ I will be posting my pics soon!! Great service! I came in for a cake tasting & consultation with a couple of my friends. I was there for almost 2.5 hours!! I was never pressured or rushed as I was talking and telling him what I wanted for my wedding. He was so helpful & concerned with making my wedding day 100% perfect!!! Outstanding job to the cake makers & decorators! I had visited several places before coming here, and NOT 1 cake bakery measures to their artistic ability & details! I purchased a 5 tier wedding cake, with an edible band & flower on it , silver beading that complimented my wedding dress, AND 2 different flavors & frosting EVERY OTHER LAYER..... and on top of that, it was Gluten free for my husband !!! -- ABSOLUTELY stunning & GORGEOUS!! HOW I LOVED MY CAKE!! What REALLY got the attention on my wedding day was the Super cool , fun GROOMS cake I had made for my husband. I surprised him , he had no idea I was having one made=ESPECIALLY one as a crafted & edible Replica of his Dream car. (Which is actually the one he bought & had restored for us to drive away at our wedding on!!!) How cool is that😍Once again, I told edible arts what I wanted & they delivered! They sculpted a Strawberry flavored filled, Gluten-Free, white , 1967 Pontiac GTO cake with so much detail to the front & rear , down to the tires & wheels, original license plate, mirrors, etc. It was a cool conversation piece!!. All of my guests adored that cake. The men at my wedding were in awe!! My wedding photographer & Rocky Top catering caterers said they'd never seen a cake like that & how awesome it was!! I will be posting these pictures soon!!! Fantastic job to the team that helped make my wedding day so memorable with the 2 made from scratch, delicious cakes 💕💕💕 Exceptional quality & professional service. They will make ALL of my special occasion cakes from now on!! You MUST have a cake made here!! They are awesome 👏 Even if you have an idea of a cake, or just indecisive, they will help you , give opinions , advice, create & put it together for you! These guys won't...
