I have been harassed here by several different males on different occasions, one of them called me a homophobic slur when I have never even spoken a word to this person. All I do here is workout and I mind my own business. I simply ignored it and didn't want to cause a scene as I was on my way out. I don't stare or ogle at people while I'm working out because I don't like being judged myself. So I don't know why this person would have a problem with me. I'm actually really friendly, nice, and considerate. Anyway, there have been more incidents that happened but I won't go into detail as I'm gonna be taking legal actions against these individuals if this harassment doesn't stop in order to fix this. I have been going at different times to avoid these people but I shouldn't have too. I have even gone out of my way to avoid this location and I sometimes go to another location. I don't understand why this is an issue for people who don't even know me. I was teased and bullied when I was a child and now that I'm an adult; I can handle it better but it still bothers me. I'm glad I had the courage to speak up about this and I hope if others are experiencing this they will speak up because I know for sure these people are harassing others. That's what bullies do, they prey on the weak and vulnerable. But they misjudged my fortitude because I am strong and I will not let them bring me down. I have been a black card member since 07/2024 and this is my home gym.

I have been to several Planet Fitness from Southern and Northern CA and this location is the worst.

Never have any toilet paper or seat covers in the women’s bathroom. Since I’ve been a member, I’ve told several staff members including management that there is NO HOT WATER IN THE WOMEN’S SHOWER.

I get the same lie—-someone has come out and checked the water for 30 minutes and it gives hot water. Is that a f-n joking?!

This maintenance person must be dumb! I mean do they get naked, in the shower while the air conditioner is blasting, and every time the toilet flushes the water pressure drops and the water gets colder?! Because that’s what the patron experiences while absolute zero hot water comes out.

The ADA shower has been broken for months.

They went through a renovation last week and was told these issues would be addressed. Come back 3 days later and they still exists. And again, told the night manager about the shower and the ADA stall broken…and what does he say…the same lie they’ve been feeding me for months!

So, I gave them several months to address this issue (since 2024) and zero change. I had no choice but to file a Better Business Bureau complaint, a complaint to the City of Sacramento business department, and the ADA compliance department with the City of Sacramento.

If you ever ask for upper management or regional management, they will NOT give you that information. I tried several times. Or even an email and nothing....

My wife is a member of the gym. I am not a big gym person because I am a swimmer and getting big means sinking. I would wait for her to get done. That is fine according to the manager as long as I don't get on the equipment. We have been abiding to that rule and there were no troubles. All the staff are friendly for the past month or so. There are security cameras throughout the premises so it is impossible for one to be able to sneak in and get on the equipment anyway. On 19:00 PST, 12th March, 2018, when we were carrying out the same routine, we were stopped by a staff named Heather who is a few twists shy of a slinky. The individual that was described had gone out her way to show me the door with attitude, insisting that it was a violation of the policy for me to wait for my wife to be done in the lounge. This was all while another woman was sitting at the corner of the lounge. She did not seem like she was member either but merely waiting for her friend to finish working out. The result of that was my lovely outfit that day was drenched in obscene rainwater because I have to wait outside for an hour. Fortunately, I did not catch a cold as a result. I have a strong suspicion that the incident was race-related. We are currently in full cooperation with our attorney to file charges if necessary. In addition to that, corporate will be notify of the incident and if the issue is still not resolved by then, we are afraid that we might need to notify the media to publicise...
