The Interpretive Center is single-handedly my favorite place in the entire world. Now, I can’t share all my great memories here, because if I were, this review would become a novel. But I would just like to say that I have no stronger emotional connection to any place in the world compared to here. When I first came here, I was very young. My dad took me and my sister here to buy time while my mom was at a baby shower. While there, I witnessed something amazing. Humpback whales, migrating and doing the leaps and what not. Ever since then, I fell in love. My grandparents live in San Pedro, and every time I’d visit I’d be sure to stop there to see if there were any whales or dolphins. I would go there every time I visited. But then my grandpa got sick. He was diagnosed with cancer. So now, instead of are usually visits filled with joy and happiness turned to sadness and despair. My grandpa passed away later that year. He was my best friend, and I loved home more than anyone in the entire world. Words cannot express what he meant to me and everyone who got to know him. But, as I said earlier, I will try to keep this as brief as possible. I always had a special connection to this place, my favorite memory being the time my grandpa, grandma, sister, and I saw a pod of Orca whales, my favorite animal. Since my grandpa passed. I have not been to the center. It has been nearly 4 years. I am sorry for writing such a long review, but I really feel like I had to. This place means so much to me, because I not only have such great memories there, but it also reminds me of my grandpa. So, to conclude this review. I love the interpretive center. I recommend it to anyone who would just like to sit back and watch marine life unfold infront of your very eyes. Hopefully I will get to visit this place soon, but for now, only time will tell. Congrats to anyone who read this...
