A perfect easy walk through the cliffs of Palos Verdes to see the endless ocean waves and horizon. There is two starting points for this path. One point begins near the Vicente Lighthouse and the other is at the end point. Both points have a small parking lot and it's best to come in early because it can get filled up quickly. The pathway runs along the side cliff where you can see beautiful homes and ocean waves at the bottom. It is an easy walkway there is no inclines and it's on a dirt path. There is tall grass and signs warning of snakes, so you have to be careful. The walkway ends up at the Vicente Lighthouse, but it was closed on the day I visited the reserve. The walkway is clean and there are benches to sit down to watch the waves and if you're lucky you get to see some dolphins or whales. I'm happy I checked out this walk because it's easy for beginners and the sights are...
Read moreBeautiful local spot in the Palos Verdes Area to visit. Perfect place to go in a short walk / run, the walking trail isn’t long itself and it’s more of a place to take a nice stroll/ walk/ meander and saunter around, enjoy the views and the sunshine, the open ended air. It’s gorgeous on a sunny day, wouldn’t recommend on a cloudy or rainy day. The parking is easy to find and there’s always room, there’s a gift shop and restrooms located near the lighthouse with a nice lawn and picnic areas. Its also located across a Trader Joe’s / shopping plaza which is nice! This isn’t a touristy area but I would recommend if you’re in the LA area and looking for a place to show family or friends visiting, or if you want to spend some time with a significant other. Wouldn’t recommend for tourists because it’s more quiet...
Read moreSuch a beautiful land to keep natural and maintain, as a public access preserve! I use to take my motocross bike here long ago, before the awesome homes were built, east of the more recently added street, Calle Entradero. The street by the way is now the Vicente Bluffs Reserve access road, with short connecting trails to the longer Seascape Trail oceanfront path. A mesmerizing experience to feel, walking along this magnificent view pathway, as one with the sound and presence of the ocean! The area’s on a high bluff, so railing along Seascape Trail prevents access to the ocean below. Visitors here often park along Calle Entradero in designated spaces, at the Vistapoint Calle Entradero and the Point Vicentes Interpretive Center parking lot, where the Center’s restrooms may also...
