Rushmore Crossing — Attraction in Rapid City

I go to Sam's Club Rapid City with elderly clients. They shop I help them. I expect the store employees to be kind, pleasant,and helpful to the seniors I take there to spend hundreds of dollars each time at the Rapid City Sam's Club. Not today. We got this cashier. Her friend another employee stopped by while we checked out to see how she was after a long night out parting... To start with my senior greeted her with a "hi"and got no response... she rang up our cart stacking everything on the counter instead of putting it in the basket and as I loaded the cart she's bored!!! Throws her head back like MY GOD HURRY UP. Thats when I snapped her photo because I don't deserve to be treated that way either. No matter how you chose to spend your time off. You need to be on the job at work. So don't go to her lane to check out. She is awful. And no Thank you in the end. What a terrible employee...

This road is an absolute disaster—one of the worst designs I’ve ever driven on. It’s a winding stretch running through a shopping strip mall, where making a left turn feels like a high-stakes mission, especially with even a hint of traffic. The curves are so tight and poorly planned that visibility is almost nonexistent, leaving you stuck waiting for a gap that never comes—meanwhile, cars pile up behind you, and shoppers dart in and out. There’s no room to maneuver, no real turn or merge lanes, and barely any breaks in the flow to sneak across into the parking lots or back onto the road. It’s like the planners forgot left turns were a thing, despite this being a busy retail area. I’ve spent more time idling in frustration than actually shopping or moving. If you can avoid this strip mall nightmare, do it—your patience and blood pressure...

This is honestly one of the most poorly designed shopping centers I have ever been to. There isn't a single store that's a pleasant experience visiting. I don't mean the interior of those stores, I mean actually navigating to those facilities. Making a left turn onto Eglin is a nightmare. There are nowhere near enough outlets for traffic ONTO Eglin, and so you get bottlenecks along the way. Going eastbound onto Eglin from LaCrosse? One lane just becomes right turn only. Many people fail to realize this, necessitating immediate left lane merges at the last second.
