Field's Jewelers — Attraction in Redding

Only giving one star due to the lack of knowledge about their own warranty and no respect for costumers requests. Bought my husband a ring back in April for our wedding in May and was informed that we had 6 months to come in and get it resized for free. I was told this by 3 different people 3 different times that this the warranty for the ring I was purchasing. We dropped it off at the 5 month mark to get it resized. I got a call a couple days later saying that it in fact would not be free and would cost me an extra $130 to have it done. I told them I would call back after discussing this with my husband. I called them back within 10 minutes, had to leave them a message and told them we did not want it resized seeing as we could not afford it. A week later we got a call saying the ring was done and ready to be picked up for $130. We never went to pick it up since we didn't have the money. A few weeks ago my husband finally went in to get it and it was TOO SMALL... they informed him they could order him a new one but that would cost another $130!! He set the ring back on the counter and said "call my wife and discuss that with her" and he walked out. A month later and they still haven't tried to contact me. I will never do business with this company again. They took an item that was supposed to be special for my husband and I and turned it in a way for their business to make as much money...

I would recommend Field's Jeweler's to my family and friends because they took good care of my wife and I. I purchased a beautiful engagement ring that took the manufacturer longer than expected to complete. Field's made it right by letting the manufacturer know that it was taking them too long and it was affecting their client (me). Field's felt bad for me and decided to give my wife's wedding band to us free of cost! The staff at Field's are very kind and helpful. My wife found a great cobalt wedding ring for me there, and she just recently had them sauter her engagement ring/wedding band. We have returned to do business despite the earlier hiccups because they stood by us and respected our budget, expectations, and buying experience. I would absolutely purchase jewelry...

Best customer service we experienced in shopping for an engagement ring!

We went to 4 other jewelry stores after visiting Field's and none of the treated us like Field's did. Other sales people were pushy in trying to guess what we were looking for, and made it seem like we were inconveniencing them by, "Just looking".

Our salesman at Fields was welcoming, and allowed us to pick and look at what we wanted while being patient and helpful in our shopping around. Basically he stood back and let us pick our ring instead of trying to pick it for us like the other stores did. It meant a lot to us by making our shopping experience more pleasurable.
