Mattress Firm Redding — Hotel in Redding

This place took advantage of me sold me two defective beds! John the manager and his buddy Nick Are very unprofessional and rude. You guys probably never went through that. Because you didn't get these 2 defective beds. Boy, when something like that happens, they don't back up what you need done. They're rude to you. They won't answer the phone to you. Because they have caller ID so they won't answer the phone. They don't like to answer any questions. This Nick guy when I had to call about a question. He yelled at me and said we're trying to run a business here. I'm all you don't understand I need to talk to somebody about what's going on with my defective mattress. Very unprofessional, John and Nick, not gentlemen, at all. Very rude, they should be fired. I'm still dealing with having to return this mattress. Get my money returned and be done with mattress firm. I think mattress firm would be good place to go. If Nick and John were not there. I love rich very good guy. I'm not putting mattress firm down. I'm putting down John and Nick because of what they put me through. Otherwise I love mattress firm. It's Nick and John that are unprofessional. And they made me have a very tough time there at mattress firm. So just letting you know what I went through at this store. Beware if something happens with your mattress, because John, the manager and this Nick guy, they will put you through it I'm telling you all they want to see is money handed down on that countertop. I kept handing them money every trip. It seemed like I went to running. They got more money out of me more money. 3 times I paid them money. So now that they have to return the money and get this defective bed. They're being so mean to me very unprofessional, very unprofessional. Please beware with these 2 men. I will not call them. I've been complaining to my wife about our old costco bed for awhile now. How I was waking up with pain in my shoulders and hips lately. She found an add about a purple mattress that costco was selling with a discount. I wanted to test one. I called costco and they could'nt do it so I called Mattress Firm in Redding. I spoke to a fellow by the name of Richard he said come on in I'll show you the line of Purple beds. My wife and I went to the store and Richard was there. I told him of my sleep concerns and he had me lye down and test several mattresses. Starting with the Purple with various firmness. He explained everything as we were testing each mattress. I'm a big guy and so is he and he understood my needs. Even explained why the old bed was failing. After finding one or two mattresses that felt right he had me try them all again until I was sure that the one we picked was the right one. Richard did it all patiently listening to both my wife and I. Explaining the spine alignment and differences in the various mattresses and firmness. No pushy sales or picking the brand for us. I do believe that Richard is a sleep expert! Everything came together just as he said. The delivery time and date, old mattress removal and the best of it all, a great painless nights sleep. Now that I've enjoyed a few good nights of sleep I thought it important to share how important it is to trust an expert, sleep expert that is! Thanks...

PLEASE READ So I am late on posting this review, but I am hoping that everyone sees this review. I have had nothing but positive experiences at this location! My husband and I bought our first mattress here when we moved to Redding almost two years ago and that experience was awesome! We worked with Hilary—-if you have read reviews and they are negative, just go in and ask for her specifically, because I have only work with her and she always tells it like it is and gave us a great deal two separate times! She will work with you and help you find what you need that will fit your style and fit your budget. And when we received our beds and our bill, it all came exactly like she said it would. Our last experience was just this past Presidents’ Day, and we went in for the sale and an upgrade, and again, we only worked with Hilary, and she got us the greatest deal, fit everything in within our budget, and when I got my bill—-no extras, no haggles, just as she said it would be. And the bed—-on time and the right order! Next time we want an upgrade I am only coming to this store and working with her! And it’s great for first time buyers too, like I said we bought our first bed set here and loved what was in stock and within our budget then and my payments were low.
