Oak Tree Furniture — Attraction in Redding

We would give zero stars if we could. My parents bought a dinning set, end tables, and a coffee table. We were sitting at dinner one night a few months after the delivery of these items. My brother laughed and leaned back in his chair, all four legs of the chair were still on the floor, and the back of the chair cracked where the back of the chair meets the seat. The chair was completely destroyed. Now, I know you are wondering, how big is this guy?! He is 6'4" and 180-190lbs, by no means over the weight limit for a chair of this supposed "quality". We have many chairs of different makes and models all much less than 600$ (what this chair cost) that have held us all for the last 20 years. There is absolutely no reason this should have happened. Sadly, this wasn't even the most disappointing part of the story. When my Dad went to show the owners, who had sold him the furniture, what had happened, they told him they were disappointed in him for trying to rip them off by saying that this chair hadn't been "abused". They were very rude, insulting, and their accusations were unfounded and unprofessional. Needless to say we are all very disheartened by this experience. When they are selling you furniture please be aware that the products are not made with wooden dowels as described they are screwed together and at inappropriate angles that weaken the design of the chairs, tables ect. Not worth the money. We are very big on small business, sadly we will not be continuing to...

Purchased a few pieces of furniture here but made a mistake on the Stanton sofa and love seat. Recliner has been broken for many weeks. Apparently the manufacturer neither had a cable or couldn’t FedEx a replacement in a timely manner (still waiting on a truck to supposedly bring one next week). Edit: Cable finally showed up but wasn’t long enough. The recliner was coming open on its own. To make matters worse the wood screws ripped out of wood frame when the repair guy pushed the couch over to install. Edit: Manager showed up to my residence to inspect the issues. He has agreed to pick up the couch, repair the sagging footrest on recliner and reinforce or replace wood frame where wood screws pulled out. Edit: The couch was returned, frame was repaired but the footrest is still sagging on one side. Disappointing and wouldn’t buy Stanton...

What a place! We just discovered this store. It's so huge... And their furniture is very nice and strikes a perfect balance between quality and price/affordability. I wanted to replace the cheap dresser in my three year old's room with something that would last into his adulthood. We found several great options and ended up selecting a taller five drawer oak model but we could have gotten a wider, shorter model, or fewer drawers, and we had many colors to choose from.
