Cute indoor play area with two slides, a ball pit and toddler toys that they switch out every week or so. It was very clean and not too crowded. We showed up around 4pm and stayed until 5:30pm. Great place to take your little one to tire them out.
The only thing that was a red flag for me: Just like a public playground, you can't control other little kids or how they're parents might not parent. So one little boy grabbed a toy pan out of my son's hand while he playing with it...then ran up to the top of the slide and then threw it down to the ball pit without even looking to see if it was going to hit anyone. His mother? Was not even watching her son. Most times she was on her phone or talking to other parents. So that was the only negative thing. As much as this place is great...I'm not sure what their policy is on more rambunctious children that are more "high energy" and lack manners. 🤔 But I stayed by my kids side to make sure he wasn't being bullied or in any physical danger. That was the only negative part...
Read moreWe love Lil Munchkins! It's clean, they rotate everything out routinely, and it's the perfect size to not be overstimulating for littles or their adults. It being intended for five and under allows me to let my toddler climb around and play worry free, building his confidence without me hovering or worrying. I also would like to say how much I appreciate the workers being on top of making sure everything is fair and everyone is following the rules when some parents tend to slip in that department. The price is also great! $22 to be able to leave and come back later that day is a steal when other places are $18 for only three hours, my son will spend 5 hours here if we go early enough. I literally drive out from Riverside to come to Lil Munchkins because nowhere else...
Read moreOur toddler loved almost every second. Before entering there is a sign that states, no food, no drinks, no shoes, etc. and No Snatching. I did not appreciate the feeling of having to take our toddler to another section because another child kept approaching her and snatching toys out of her hand. From what I understand, parents are required to supervise their children. There was a bit of a delay to this rule for one specific party which made our experience a bit unfair. We removed our child from the situation three times and distanced ourselves. I do believe the no snatching rule should be enforced or there should be a staff member checking up every so often as there was children unsupervised. Nonetheless, great place, many toys for littles to choose from,...
