Redondo Beach Jetty — Attraction in Redondo Beach

I saw a review complaining that there weren’t more “attractions.” What a broken human. Can you imagine seeing a clean, safe, wide open beach and thinking to yourself, “If only there was a Ferris Wheel slap in the middle of this then I could be happy.” This beach is special precisely because there are less attractions than other beaches. South of the pier, the area is so private, quiet and serene. The jetty is particularly fun to explore.

as a local surfer and skater here, the waves on sapphire street are just fabulous for surfing! no matter what the waves are gentle and goes a long way, almost 18 seconds in winter! though the lineup can get really busy so catching waves are best in the mornings. i recommend every surfer to try out this spot. 🤙🏻 it’s the best spot...
