About 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I bought a water pipe from US Tubes. Within days, an accident made it fall not even 2 feet onto carpet and it completely shattered. I was shocked, because when we bought it, one of the guys helping us (John) showed us how the US Tubes get delivered to them- simply placed in a box with no bubble wrap or protection. So of course we had total faith in the product, as did John. A few days later when we returned to buy a new piece and told the guys working about what had happened to our piece (not looking or hoping for discounts, just telling the story), they were completely shocked that a US Tube would break so easily. The owner, Ted, was working and with no hesitation told us that we had clearly gotten a fluke, and he would get into contact with the blower and replace our piece for FREE. Along with that, he gave us 20% off of any US Tube piece in the meantime, and then even threw an extra 5$ off a new bowl. It was just the next morning that I got a text from Ted saying that heâd gotten in contact with the blower and to come on in same day to get our replacement. Weâve just picked up our new piece, and when we were about to buy some screens he said âMy treatâ and threw those in too. The owner Ted told us he has personal relationships with all the blowers and doesnât sell any pieces he doesnât personally trust and have faith in. Phenomenal place with exceptional service, amazing glass, and an owner who truly cares about his customers and his products. Couldnât recommend...
   Read moreI had shopped here may years... went there yesterday and bought something; I was given the incorrect item. Brought it back about 18 mins later and with my recipe; the clerk says they "only give store credit". Mind you the item was still completely new and unused... and it was the clerk who messed up in the first place. He says "we can only give refunds when the manager is here". So I left and called later that night to see if a "manager" was in... There was noone to help me so I gave up after my multiple attempts to correct there mistake.
I believe these attempts are enough to satisfy the "Return Guarantee" on my Discover card. Lucky I bought it on my credit card so I'm just going to make artFrauds dispute it with Discover as a charge back! lol (SHOULD HAVE WORKED WITH ME)
P.S. To the clerk who was to encumbered to learn how to use the P.O.S and CC machine in-front of him... The CC machine you refused to learn was a VX520 so you just want to... -Hit the number "2" from the "home screen" -Select "1" for refund -enter amount of refund swipe or key in card Take first recipe and staple it to the "original recipe" and drop it in the register. Give the customer a "customer copy"
Hopefully this vital information can be taught to the employees of this simple establishment, to prevent others from thinking they are simply to ignorant to operate a basic credit...
