Although I've recieved good customer service from this location in the past, I can't give it more stars right now and here's why:
First, their driveway entrance/exit is narrow and located on one of the busiest roads at one of the busiest intersections in the area. This makes coming and going really frustrating because it's literally difficult getting in and out of there. While I can forgive them for their location and its annoying entrance, it's still annoying.
Second, they are the only recreational dispensary that I've ever gone to that has an entrance that you can't get past without showing ID to the security guard at the secondary entrance and yet often no guard is present and instead just a closed and locked door. Customers are often lined up waiting just to be ID'd. Every other dispensary maintains continuous security presence and therefore everyone can get through the door with ease regardless of time of day or how busy they are.
Third, when you enter the store there is zero apparent accountability for servicing on a "first come first served" basis. Instead, you're supposed to walk up to a counter where a salesperson then approaches you. The problem is, the salespeople don't know who was next when it's busy. Today, I went there and was the last one helped after everyone else had been helped and many of those helped came in behind me. I wasn't even greeted or acknowledged until after everyone else had been.
Fourth, customer service quality isn't consistent. One minute I'm getting awesome customer service and the next I'm getting the worst service imaginable.
A couple weeks ago I went there not knowing that I had to pick up my online order at the window as opposed to entering the store. When I entered the store I also was picking out other things to purchase on top of my online order. When I approached the counter to check out I was rudely informed that all online orders must be picked up at the window as if I was supposed to know that and was made to feel I had no right to enter the store to make any additional purchases.
Tonight, as I write this, I am now telling you about yet another experience where I received rude customer service even though the end result was positive.
Earlier today I had gone there with a friend who purchased for me a vape pen called the Baton. We both spoke at length with the salesperson. We had also asked several times about what all we needed to purchase and she explained to us that we have to purchase cartridges separately and we need to refill or replace those cartridges routinely but then she said and reiterated on more than one occasion that it came with an initial cartridge. Both of us heard her say it and both of us confirmed to each other we heard her say it and yet when I got home there was no cartridge. She didn't say " You have to purchase the 1st cartridge". She said "It comes with a cartridge". So I called the store thinking perhaps they just forgot to include the cartridge and the person I spoke to said "just bring your receipt in and we'll give you your cartridge". I'm thinking OK, I just need to show proof that we purchased a Baton and thus get my 1st cartridge. I couldn't go back to the store until much later and the store is across town from where I live so it's kind of out of the way to even go there in the 1st place. But I went there nonetheless and when I arrived and showed my receipt she promptly informed me I did not purchase the cartridge. To which I repeatedly tried to inform her that the sales person told me it came with a cartridge. So either she lied or she misinformed me. In either case, I was now being told that I would have to purchase the cartridge. Feeling cheated because you don't tell somebody something and then turn around and tell them something else entirely different in a business. That's tantamount to false advertising or misrepresentation. When I became frustrated I begin to tell the manager my frustration and she throws the cartridge in the bag and says angrily "there! Take it!". I said "thank you" and she angrily said...

The people here are always friendly, helpful, and sweet. The location is perfect, you can get off and then back on the nearby freeway easily when you make a stop. I just have one problem with this location- and that has to do with web orders.
I have done 6 web orders here since they opened and when I come in, it is the norm for all the web order slips to just be sitting in a pile on the counter- unfulfilled.
I first did a web order in the early morning before opening and came in to pick it up around 6pm. I was told that they couldn't honor the web price of one of the items because: "It's not ringing up at that price." The website didn't mention that the item was on special or anything- I just picked a few items and checked out. I wasn't happy with the discrepancy, so I whined about it and a manager finally fixed it and honored the price from the web.
After my first experience, I assumed that ordering before opening was a bad idea, as perhaps the site's prices reset at opening or something. So I started ordering around 1pm or 2pm and picking up between 6pm and 8pm. Of the 5 other times I have ordered, only once was my web order ready and pulled from stock when I went in that night.
One of those 5 times that my order wasn't ready, I was told that one of the products I ordered was sold out. It was a busy Friday, and I had placed an order at 1:30pm. The product I ordered was 26% and by the time I came in to pick it up, the only thing left at that price from that brand was 19%.
The whole idea of placing a web order is to reserve the product. I always order on Friday and I knew that Friday was always a busy rush once people get off work. That's why I ordered well before rush hour. It really defeats the purpose of web orders to pile the order tickets up until the person who ordered comes in hours later, and then rush around looking for the items after the stock has been decimated by a Friday night rush. I was bummed the first time, I was disappointed the second time, and after the 5th time- I'm reconsidering web orders (and how important a convenient proximity is to me as far as where I shop).
I will fix the rating if they improve, because I really like the people...

If you have a online order, you can pick up at a window in the lobby, or go inside to the registers to pick up. ATM's at entrance and inside, with 4 registers to ring customers out. I checked the website before going, and no daily deals were listed. They seem to use a point system based on previous purchases in order to receive discounts beyond listed prices. They did have a section of products that were marked down (25-40% off), but it was random and I think its a last jar clearance more than anything.
Pro's The staff is friendly. Wide selection of products in every category. Having been to the south Renton location a few times, they don't ever seem to be crowded or busy if you looking for quick service. Everything is very clean, one of the cleanest dispensaries I've been in. They don't rush you, and take time to cover all your needs when browsing.
Cons The corner it is located on can be difficult to get in and out of depending on the time of day due to traffic. No daily deal/vendor discount, in general if you don't have points then everything would be full price everyday outside of a small clearance section. No pricing on product, its all given verbally by an employee helping you. The person helping you pick out product is not the same person ringing you out. Was told one price by person helping me pick out product, only to be told a higher price at register. This is a high end store, so if discounts are important to you. I wouldn't recommend...
