Got my braces off today and I had a great experience with Renton Orthodontics. Here is some of what I liked: I was able to get an initial visit and quote scheduled quickly. The 2 other orthodontists that I got estimates from both had many weeks wait before the initial visit, which I took as a bad sign. Every appointment that started on time or ahead of time. Office is staffed every day of the week, although some days were only one assistant to handle unexpected needs. It was easy to schedule my visits around my working time constraints. When I needed something suddenly, I was able to go in on the non-appointment days. I liked the payment option with a discount for paying in full in advance. The office is run very efficiently. The staff seem highly competent with an upbeat can-do outlook. Dr. Kuo and the assistants were always keen to answer questions thoroughly. I was given several alternatives for treatment, and some alternatives during treatments. When aligners did not work for me for an unexpected reason, I was able to change to braces. Results look really good!
What could have made it even better: Most things, and especially my responsibility in taking care of my aligners or braces, were explained very clearly. I would have liked to have been referred to even more information with more details about the process for aligners or braces in advance. For example, I did not know that to make aligners work better that small "attachments" would be glued to some of my teeth. But every patient is a little different I suppose.
I recommend Renton Orthodontics be at the top of your list if your are looking to get...
Read moreI was really hesistant to begin my orthodontic treatment for many reasons. I started doing research on a few different clinics and was luckily referred to Renton Orthodontics a few weeks before signing a really not so great contract elsewhere. Not only is this the best pricing I’ve had (very reasonable) but my doctor was very straight forward with me and told me that my teeth actually didn’t need as much done. I was quoted a very high price elsewhere and was told that I would have a very long and extensive treatment with multiple add ons. Every time I come in I am greeted so kindly from each staff! I work with patients as well and typically have my long days and I walk at the end of both of our days and still receive excellent care. I broke a bracket but was helped out very quickly and was allowed to come in on a closed day to get my wire cut! I would recommend this clinic a million times! Thank you to all of the great staff and for all of the great care! Looking forward to getting my bottom braces! I also love how clean and organized the whole office is!...
Read moreThe orthodontist seems very money hungry and will not see your child if you lose your income. I switched jobs and my insurance changed so they did not bill my insurance and said that I was responsible for the entire amount of $1400 even though it was only $157. Then the lady on the phone couldn’t even give me an answer on how insurance works if someone switches jobs smh. I felt very bad I couldn’t schedule my child an appointment because of one payment. Then they told me the system won’t let them but the last time I made the payment at the time of service so one person just says whatever they feel the doctor wants them to say to get the money. That’s all they’re worried about. It didn’t feel personable, caring, compassionate at all and I would frankly find another orthodontist for my other children in the future and wouldn’t recommend it to any of my colleagues!! By the way, I am a registered nurse and would never treat patients this way. I would be embarrassed!! Check yelp for the...
