Ace's Games & More — Attraction in Revere

Maybe the easiest 5 Stars i've ever given.

i was introduced to Ace at Ace's Games & More by a trusted friend about 15 years ago.... and over the years have purchased quite a few things from this store.... and i can say with complete honesty, if Ace sells it, that's where i'm going to buy it. The reason 'Why' is actually quite simple. Ace is beyond fair in his pricing (you will NOT find it cheaper elsewhere!!) and he treats his customers like family... literally. Yes, sometimes it's a busy place and you might have to wait... but when it's your turn, you'll be happy you didn't leave.

Thanks to Ace, I was FINALLY able to #CUTtheCord from Comcast cable. in 18 years as a Comcast customer i've paid Comcast IN EXCESS of $51,000 ($240 x 12 x 18yrs) and as of today, i'm free from the Comcast/Xfinity bondage. The person that is SOLELY responsible for helping me break the Comcast addiction... is Ace.... and he can show you how to do it also!!

i'm not a "gamer" but Ace has a GIGANTIC selection of new (and used) games, HARD TO FIND (!!) card sets... and his Official Licensed sports merchandise is generally LESS THAN HALF what it sells for elsewhere!!

whether you've been to Ace's Games & More once... or been there dozens of times, you'll see that what i've said in this Review is 100% true, without exaggeration. Over the years i've sent MANY (!!) of my personal friends to Ace... and without fail, they've called me back to say... "i get it now, you were right." As you will see and agree.... Ace is a good guy with high integrity and he's VERY VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. It's easy to see why Ace has been so...

Drove an hour to buy a really expensive GameCube game for $750. After getting to the store I look at the disc and it has tons of scratches to the point where it is extremely questionable whether it will play. I asked him if I could return it tomorrow if I test it and it doesn't work and he says no. I ask him if I can bring in a Wii or a GameCube to test the game before I buy it. He says he doesn't have a tv that has the right AV ports as he only has a tv with HDMI. I tell him I will provide the gamecube/Wii and the tv and he says if I do try to test it he will raise the price to $1300. Extremely shady owner I would highly recommend if you are considering going here that you stay away.

Update based of the owners response:the only reason he had to reply to me off hours is because he forgot to send me pictures and I had to keep reminding him. Secondly I was going to drop $750 on a game but you wouldn't even let me test it even though I was willing to drive 40 mins to buy a Wii and a tv and then drive an hour to your store so I could test it but you flat out refuse and then claim in responding to my review that you did everything you could to make me comfortable? You told me no I couldn't do that and if I even tried to you would charge me $1300....

Ace Games & More truly deserves a 5/5 star rating! (I very rarely rate 5/5 because in all honesty that means perfection, however, that is exactly what you will experience at Ace)

For someone like myself, a newbie in the industry, when dealing with Cards and Sport Memorabilia it is so easy to find yourself being taken advantage of and on the loosing side of a given deal. My inexperience and lack of knowledge is something every collector must go through when first starting out, and this is why Ace deserves the 5/5 rating. The owner, Ace, who is always on site, not only has a HUGE AMAZING COLLECTION of all things relevant to Cards, Sports and collectables, but is more than happy to help educate people like myself, who like him, love the idea and hobby of collecting. He is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and such an honest person, making this store a MUST VISIT for anyone who calls themselves a collector of cards and sport memorabilia, or for anyone interested and wanting to learn more.
