Ordered pizza from Revere House, it was delivered ICE cold and doughie. My fries are also soggy and cold. I called to complain thinking they would apologize and maybe send a new pizza or provide a refund. The first person hung up on me. The second time I called, I told them what happened and the man said no one would ever do that here, we have four phone lines. (I’m not sure what phone lines have to do with someone hanging up on a customer?) The man continued to say it was delivered within the estimated window (it wasn’t, it was 10 minutes late). I get it there is most likely traffic traffic. If I wanted a super quick pizza, I would order from a closer pizza shop, but I use to enjoy Revere House. I order from Revere House often, the one time I have an issue with my order, they basically call me a liar saying there is no way that my food is cold because they delivered it within the window and my pizza couldn’t be doughie because they’re not hand made they’re cooked on a conveyor belt. When I mentioned I was a long time customer, he told me I wasn’t. As I’m writing this review, the pizza delivery guy some how gets back to store within 20 minutes of delivering my pizza (but it took them an hour to deliver my pizza and blamed it on traffic). The guy whom I spoke with then calls me back and tells me, the delivery man was waiting on my porch for 15 minutes (wait what? I just waited an hour for my pizza with a starving 3 year old). I told him that was untrue and the delivery man said he needed to call my phone multiple times for me to answer. I offered to send a screenshot of my phone and he hung up on me. IF he had to call phone multiple times (which he didn’t), why wouldn’t he ring the doorbell? (Do delivery drivers not do that anymore? We provide the apartment number for a reason, right?) Read moreI usually never do reviews but today this experience was quite upsetting. I have gotten take out from them a numerous of times and saw they delivered to Everett. I then began getting ot delivered to me with no problem until one time they said they don't deliver to Everett. I thought maybe it was something new so just ordered somewhere else. I went back to getting take out and asked why they don't deliver to Everett anymore and they were like we still do. I was slightly confused but just said oh ok. So then delivery to my house back on as normal after that day, until today when I tried to get an order delivered. The guy first said we don't deliver to Everett then I explained that they always deliver here, look at your computer. So then he changed his story to they are to busy to deliver to me. How does that even make sense? I don't even live that far from the place. I literally live near the high school, so that is going down one road, make a right, then a left. It's less than 8min away. Probably closer than most houses they deliver to in Revere. When I was trying to explain to him how close I was and that I understood that they were busy and I didn't mind on how long the wait would be, he just rudely cut me off said no sorry we only have 2 drivers and hung up. Ok, well why can't 1 of those 2 drivers bring me my food? I used to order from there both delivery and take out on a regular basis like at least once a week to as much as 3 times a week, and they aren't cheap orders. My family likes food and we easily spend $80-$120 on one order, cuz I'm getting desert too...lol. Sorry to say you lost a good customer today. I gave 2 stars because the food is actually good. I only hate that my kid loves the food and she is the one that will be the most disappointed about...
Read moreI ordered for 6 people last night via online and when I got there they forgot to give me 2 out of the 6 orders. Greeted me unprofessionally. I asked them if this was all my food and they said yes even though I noticed the bag seemed like food was missing.
Also, the front desk girl was rude and didn't even care that she forgot my food after double checking. She wasn't apologetic about it nor did she showed that she cared at all.
And on the front of the store there is a HUGE sign saying a free soda with every dinner purchase, mind you this was after I had purchased (2) 20 oz bottles of soda. I came back into the store and asked if I can receive my free sodas because I had ordered 2 steak tip dinners and she said "NO" shrugged it off like FALSE ADVERTISING is ok. They need to remove that sign if they are not going to honor it to their customers.
WORST SERVICE I RECEIVED and that was my first and last time going there. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
And when I got home, the pineapple that came with my kahuna burger made my bun so soggy that I ended up using lettuce from my home and ate a lettuce burger instead.
I don't think they take pride in their service nor do they care about customer retention since that was the WORST experience for my first time going there.
