I am mortified over what just happened at Papa Jacks. I have been ordering from them for 8 years and tonight they not only destroyed my loyalty for them they left me in tears. I had been ordering chicken salad sub, steak and cheese, and pizza for a minimum at least once to twice a week for 8 years. I have never complained, even when they took over 1 1/2 hours to deliver my food, kept delivering it to my old apartment for the last two years even though, I give them the new address each time, but tonight was more than any customer could deal with. I placed my usual order, waited over an hour, put my sub in the refrigerator until I was done cleaning. To my surprise it was not my order. I called to let them know that they had delivered the wrong sub. The owners wife insisted I ordered what they delivered. When I told her I had been ordering the same thing for years, she informed me it was 8 years. So I said if you look back my order has never changed. She began to yell at me and said she works 16 hours a day and that I have never and will never work as hard as she does, working 16 hour days including today. I have been a US History Teacher for 20 plus years and my second job was working as at Macy's 20 hours a week, while bringing up two children by myself and while suffering from MS! She belittled and berated me to the point, I was so upset I was brought to tears. She called me a lier, said I have never worked hard a day in my life and that she would not send me a "FREE SUB!" Free sub, I paid for a chicken salad sub and got something totally different, you are not sending me a FREE SUB, I paid for my sub, you sent me the wrong one. When many people told me they no longer thought Papa Jacks was food, I told them they were crazy! I actually wrote a review 4 days ago saying how great their chicken salad sub was. To be called yelled at, called a lier, and to say I do not work hard really hurt me so badly. I will never order from Papa Jacks again, shame on them for treating a great customer like they did tonight. That tells me that they only care about money and do not take pride in what they do, shame on them. I am happy the oqnwr and his wife think they work so much harder then the rest of the world. I am going to keep posting to ever cite and review I can find. If an owner and his wife could careless for a customer of 8 years, call them a lier (because they know I ordered a sub I have never heard of,) yelled at me, made me so disappointed that I had wrote something nice about them a week ago only to have to deal with this. If I can give it a 0 I would WORST customer service ever. I called in a order at 11:27 they said “ok 30 minutes” cool I waited I see. The clock at 12:11 and called to see what was taking to long because it’s 30 minutes. They said in one minute the driver will come. Nothing …. So I called back at 12:17 to cancel my order because I had to go to work and ALBINA rudely said that although I hadn’t received my food I can’t get a refund (basically stealing) I asked her (so I can’t get my refund back for food I never received or ate? ) she said it doesn’t work that way so I had asked her if I had to call the police in order to get my refund back and she said call them and the White House and that she didn’t care although on their page nor anywhere do I see any “refund policy” at this point it’s not about the food anymore it’s more about how this unprofessional business acts when it comes down to refunding a customers money of a error they made . Why tell the customer 30 minutes if it’s more like a hour. She doesn’t care about the business nor its reputation nor their customers it’s CLEAR ! I used to like Papa jacks but honestly don’t WASTE your money here . Go else where because it doesn’t matter how much you order from there if they do something wrong or your order never gets received THEY WONT REFUND YOU FOR FOOD YOU NEVER RECEIVED OR ATE . She said “You won’t get your money back , it doesn’t work that way” so MS.ALBINA how does it work ? You can go around taking peoples money and people should be ok with that ? Well tonight was my first time and we got a large half pepperoni and three subs I had the mafia sub it was so good. The only thing I’ll change next time is ask for some American cheese didn’t really come through in the sub but the flavor was on point and the bread was on point. Pizza was pretty good as swell. The customer service was A plus plus. I think it was the owners daughter up front and honestly think she was happier than we were about the food we were getting 😂. Definitely a spot where I’ll be trying very thing once. Oh and they have fried dough so there’s that. That deserves 5 stars by itself. Go check them out seem like good...
