This place is my only go to place to make my margaritas! I get so many compliments on my margaritas. I don't do them the traditional way, but my friends and family love them! Thanks to Matteson Wine and Spirits, they are the ONLY PLACE IN THE AREA that sells all the wonderful flavors of this AMAZING SECRET TO MY DRINKS. It's called REAL INFUSED EXOTICS. I'll share my photos of how I make them and you must USE THESE REAL PUREE SYRUPS TO MAKE THESE MARGARITAS! Walmart only carries COCONUT and its more expensive by 2 dollars. I haven't tried it personally, but my favorites are the strawberry, the mango and the passion fruit. HOW TO MAKE THE PEACH TEA LEMONADE MANGO MARGARITA I make the margaritas mostly with either the strawberry or the mango flavor.
I just make a 1 gallon pitcher of juice that has two peach tea juice sticks and one lemonade stick for the mango. Strawberry receipe is below.
Add 6 squeezes of the mango into the Shaker (serves 2 people)
Add some ice
4 shots of blue agave Jose cuervo tequila
One fresh squeezed lemon Squeeze into Shaker
Pour the juice in the Shaker.
Shake it good with ice
You can freeze your glasses so they're very cold and add ice to them. Then pour the Margarita from the Shaker over the ice into your iced glasses and enjoy!!
The strawberry method is the same just with the two strawberry orange banana juice stick and one lemonade juice stick. 3 sticks makes a a gallon batch of the juice for the drink mix.
The syrup and the squeezed lemon juice only gets added to the glasses before you shake them up, not the gallon of juice. About 3 squeezes of the REAL mango syrup per drink and 2 shots of your doing a single serving . They sell these big plastic drink shakers there for like 2 bucks if you need a shaker(included in the picture). There right near the syrups. They have nicer ones too.
I'll attach the ingredients and photos!

Read moreMatteson Wine & Spirits is a top-tier liquor store and a must-visit for bourbon lovers. The selection here is fantastic, with a fully stocked bourbon aisle and a wide variety of both everyday favorites and allocated gems. Unlike some stores that hide their best bottles, they put their allocated bourbons right out on display, making it easy to see what’s available.
The store is well-organized, spacious, and carries everything from craft selections to premium bottles. Prices are fair, especially for allocated bourbons, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s clear they take pride in keeping a great selection for their customers.
This is definitely a store I’ll be keeping in my regular rotation. If you’re serious about bourbon hunting, get here early and often—when they get something good, it goes straight to the shelf. Highly...
Read moreThis was my go to liquor store even after moving to MN when I visit family. Love the large selection and the staff are both courteous and helpful. I asked my guy to go there for me. He told me that he had gotten a 12 pack but 2 bottles were broken. Luckily her didn't cut himself. Furthermore, the container was dry. I told him that it was delivered to the store that way and called and informed a guy at the store. He apologized and stated the same assumption. He offered to replace the 12 pack but I had just driven 7.5 hours from MN. I got caught in heavy traffic along the road and of course in IL rush hour. Just wanted to get to his house and chill. I was very pleased at his response and offer. KEEP UP THE...
