I ordered a junior bridesmaid dress for my daughter. The color I ordered was buttercream. I picked the color from a swatch at the store and was also given a piece of that swatch to take home. The dress came in and my sisters (bride and maid of honor) picked up the dress because I was dealing with a lot of health issues with my daughter. When they brought the dress out it was buttercup (yellow) and not buttercream as I had ordered. My sisters discussed why it was yellow and why I would order that color not knowing it wasn’t correct. They got out my receipt and showed that it was buttercup on the receipt so they took the dress. When they called me I told them it wasn’t correct. I was still dealing with a lot of health issues with my daughter (she is special needs) so when I was able (6 weeks later) I took my receipt, swatch and dress to the store. I purposefully did not get my receipt out immediately. I explained that there was a mistake in the color. Ronnie asked what color I was expecting and I told her buttercream. She looked for my receipt and said she couldn’t find it. She got out a swatch card and said there is no buttercream on the swatch card. That is when I showed her my receipt and swatch. She then grabbed another swatch card and said the swatch was clearly ivory. Did I want to order an ivory dress then? She then “found” my receipt. My receipt had cup written over cream. Her excuse was that when her mother ordered the dress they must have told her there wasn’t buttercream and that’s why she wrote buttercup over buttercream. I said no it is buttercream and it doesn’t match the ivory. She said there is no buttercream, if there was it would be on the swatch card. I told her it was on the website. Both colors. She tried to argue that there weren’t two different colors even when I showed her on my phone on their website. She then called Morilee. I assume they told her the same thing because she hung up and was irritated. She grabbed the buttercup dress from where I hung it and said she would order a new dress. Then grabbed a third swatch card that did indeed have a buttercream swatch. She said she would order the dress but it was going to be in very late. Like 2 weeks before the wedding. She told me I should have come in sooner. She didn’t know why I would wait so long. I explained that it was due to health problems my daughter was having. Her mother then came out and said the same thing. That she told my sisters if there was a problem to let her know asap. I had to explain again that my daughter had health problems and this is the soonest I could get in. I told her that my sisters questioned the color and she said they didn’t. Why then did you get the receipt out and show them? Why was it even ok to change the color on a signed receipt without calling me? Why lie and say the color swatch was clearly ivory? Why lie and say there is no buttercream? Why lie and say you couldn’t find the receipt? If a mistake was made you should have owned the mistake and made it right immediately. Not change my receipt and pass it off as the correct color. Then treat me poorly and make it my fault they had to rush a dress in. Did they order the correct dress in the correct color and have it to me in enough time without a charge? Yes, it actually came in sooner than they said it would. Which is appreciated. What was not appreciated was all the unnecessary stress added could have been avoided if the mistake was admitted to and a new dress ordered when the mistake was realized by them…not me. When I called the next day to get a confirmation in writing a dress was ordered she said sure. I’ve never had anyone ask me to do that. Are you concerned? To which I responded yes very concerned. She did text me one. But how can I not be concerned when I was lied to so many times. And my signed receipt was changed. If I wouldn’t have had my receipt I would have been stuck with a yellow dress that looked awful with our cinnamon color dresses and the flowers that...
Read moreThe Bridal Suite is always the first place I recommend for a friend to visit when looking for an event dress. From homecoming, to prom, to pageant, Bridal Suite has always treated us well. When walking into the store we are always greated with smiles and kindess. Ronnie and her staff remember what has worked well for us in the past and have an idea of a piece that will look perfect for the next event. We always found dresses for school dances at a great price. The selection of pieces always seemed to have gowns we had never seen before. This allowed my family friend to always stand out at her dances and competitions as a polished, elegeant, young woman. When my mother was looking for a specific gown, Bridal Suite ordered the gown and guarenteed it came in exactly as we hoped. When preparing for a national pageant, the Bridal Suite gave honest informed opinions on which gown complimented the contestant most. Never did we feel pressure to select one gown or another. My contestants always leave feeling like royalty and that they had a special experience. Ronnie cares so much about her clients and their experience. As an active pageant director and mentor to high school dance age girls, I have had to visit many different gown shops. I can honestly say Bridal Suite is the BEST in the business and truly an outstanding shopping experience. I will always bring my girls here for dances, pageants,...
Read moreI cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at The Bridal Suite! From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel so welcomed and cared for. Choosing a wedding dress can be overwhelming, but they created such a calm, joyful environment that it became one of the most memorable parts of my wedding planning.
They didn’t just help me find the perfect dress (which I’m still obsessed with!)—they went above and beyond in every way. After my appointment, they continued to offer support and advice, helping me coordinate the men’s ties, select beautiful jewelry, and even brainstorm hairstyle ideas. It felt like having a team of bridal best friends cheering me on every step of the way.
To top it all off, my mom also found her dress here, and that experience was just as special. Seeing her feel confident and radiant meant the world to both of us.
If you're looking for more than just a dress shop—if you want personalized care, genuine support, and a team that truly loves what they do—this is the place. Thank you, Bridal Suite, for making this part of our...
