Hampton Inn Johnstown — Hotel in Richland Township

This hotel has got to be a setup for a dope dealer because there is no way that this a real hotel that doesn't have a no pool to use (because it's only outside- weather it's closed right now),no laundry room, one workout machine in the fitness room, serve the same breakfast everyday.i didn't even bother to ask about the business center at this point bc I probably would have been more disappointed. This is something you may want to know if you are staying for several days. The only thing that saves this hotel, from me thinking its some kinda setup is the staff is super nice. That's it. I believe if I saw a piece of sausage another day, I was going to scream and toss every tray they had to the nearest dumpster 🤮 The laundry, I had, (I travel for work), I had to haul all of it to a nearby laundry which spoiled my lazy Sunday relaxation intensions. I'd say if you are staying a day, you're fine but any longer stays, you will wanna move. I preferred the room I had Holiday Inn, downtown. They had a restaurant, walking. Distance and all kinds of extra amenities. I would preferred the company I work for, got at least half their money back because for almost $1100 for the days I stayed, this was the cheapest, shabbiest, and "lack there of' style hotel. The rooms are pretty clean or decent, the heat doesn't go above 76, it was cold in my room the first night. It's close to shopping centers, and town. Pretty decent location. Otherwise, you may like it...I didn't personally, it was too off brand for me for my tastes...I'd prefer a...

This place has nice rooms. The lady tbst greeted me was very friendly and welcoming. You can tell she has a good relationship with GOD. And she had a wonderful sense of humor. And was very helpful with recommendations.. over all I'll stay here again. I thought my room was little pricey for its size. But I booked on Expedia. And could have prob got my military discount and better deal if I just got the room from the hotel site. The pool isn't open yet. But the black lady with the glasses who works at the front desk. She was so kind and loving I can feel and tell she is a loving soul with a good sense of humor. Got some nice pls es near by to eat . A nice selection from Italian to Chinese and several in betweens.. location is more private and quite for a johnstown area neighborhood. The hotel was quite considering they had a lot of guest coming down looked like dressed for a wedding or a big event. Well this is no 5 star hotel. The service did deserve the 5 stars. And considering some of the bad run down areas still in Johnstown. This is one of the best locations and quiet places you will find. One downside is the rooms most were listed as non smoking. So I paid more for one I thought I could smoke In. The whole hotel is smoke free. But they have several outside smoking sites. With a fire and great view of the pool.. Hopefully next time its opened. They also have gym and a business center to check and print email and...

I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip and had an excellent experience overall. From the moment I checked in, the front desk personnel were incredibly cordial and friendly, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.

The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, providing a pleasant environment to rest and work during my stay. Additionally, the breakfast offered was satisfying, providing a good start to my busy days.

One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the housekeeping staff. I inadvertently left behind a couple of pieces of clothing in the room, and when I contacted the hotel, they promptly connected me with the housekeeping department. The staff there went above and beyond to locate my items and graciously mailed them back to me. This level of attention and care towards guests is commendable and truly sets this hotel apart.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding customer service and the comfortable amenities provided during my stay. I will certainly choose to stay at this hotel again on my next business trip, knowing that I can expect a high level of hospitality and...
