Quality and cleanliness have fallen off a cliff the past two months. No apparent on site manager - or one who cares. Too many messes on prep tables and the floor; which are all visible to customers and set your expectations for the food quality before you even endure the usual long wait to get it. Four staff standing around in prep area doing nothing while customers notice filth and disarray. It was lunchtime and NO bagels were left from morning. Every Panera I’ve ever been to (mostly Pittsburgh) has bagels all day. The coffee was completely empty as was the creamer. That was the highlight of the visit. Two thirds of the seating area was mysteriously awry and blocked off, this seating was limited. We had to try to eat out in the wind. Food was basically inedible with Herculean amount of cilantro provided to test our constitutions. We failed the challenge and we contributed three fourths of our meals to the overflowing trash cans. Read moreAtmosphere was nice and employees were friendly. As far as food and prices... um, not so great. I ordered the turkey chili bread bowl; edible but wouldn't buy again. My boyfriend had the grilled cheese and bacon with the creamy tomato soup (the one being advertised on tv); wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There was hardly any cheese on it and what bacon there was on it didn't taste good. It also had some kind of pepper in the center and the bread was burnt black in places. The tomato soup tasted like vomit, in my opinion (yes, I tasted it). My 2 year old grandson had the kid's mac n cheese which came with a squeezable yogurt (no complaints) and a chocolate chip cookie. My boyfriend and I both had a small drink as well. All of this totaled $32.50 ($3 tip included at the time of ordering). Not sure why I was asked to tip but okay. We MAY try one more time.... time will...
Read moreThis was my first time eating Panera. It was average. The counter staff was unfriendly and spoke to the customer in front of us like they were idiots so we opted to just use the kiosk. The staff spent more time having "girl time" in the lobby with their friends that came in and out. Our food was ok, at best. The bacon Mac and cheese was just Mac and cheese with no more than a tablespoon of bacon on top. My sandwich was ok, no complaints. My bf got a soup and it had that "straight from the can" taste. His sandwich was ok as well. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie too, and it looked like someone punched it about 6x before bagging it. I will say that I liked it the best though. So to sum it all up- *condescending staff that would rather mingle in the lobby. The guys making the food were doing what they were supposed to. *Mid-average food. *High prices for...
