Capri Pizza — Restaurant in Richland Township

Online the hours state 7:30. In store, it states 8:00. So it would be nice to know which it really is. Upon arrival at 7:20pm, a quite rude server, that unfortunately I did not get the name of, told us they were closing down and that we could not eat there. Despite the sign in the window stating 8pm. Regardless of what it says online, when a different time is listed IN PERSON at the restaurant, one would believe that is the closing time. I’ve worked in many restaurants for over a decade. The rule of thumb is you seat customers until that clock strikes closing time, whether that is 7:30 or 8. If you close at 7:30pm, 99.99% of restaurants will seat a table at 7:29pm. It’s just the way the industry is. It was 7:20, so we should have been sat and served. Instead a rude waitress told us “we’re closed so you’ll need to go somewhere else”. This was just a lazy server that did not want to do her job and wanted to leave early. I’m thoroughly disgusted by this as we have come in at this time before and have been treated kindly and served as normal customers. We will not be coming to this location anymore, so little miss rude server will get her wish and get to close early every night. The tone and how rude and dismissive she was is what really prompted this review and the decision to go to the Westmont location from here on out. Sad what has become of this new generation of workers and the youth...

So I go into the downtown location a couple weeks ago and order a large plain pizza. The guy who always runs the register, I'm assuming he is the owner tells me that the pizza is 9.99. I said OK, I will take it. Now I am not a mathematician, but tax on 10 bucks is 60 cents, correct? So he proceeds to tell me that my total is 11.00 dollars. So when I question this guy about it, he tells me that I am being charged 40 cents for the flipping box!! You have got to be kidding me, charge for a box that I would think you would have to put the pizza in to take home. It's not about the 40 cents, it is about principle!! How in the hell are you going to charge me for the box that my pizza comes in, and if you are going to, why wouldn't it already be factored in on the price. I will never step foot into this dump again, nor will anybody I know. I had a bad experience in the past about this same guy not letting me take the pizza crust off the pizza that I just ate and paid for home to my dog. I can't stand arrogant people like this and hope that anybody that reads this follows my lead and stays away from this dump. I really hope whoever is in charge of this place, keeps up with the reviews.. tonight I ordered take out... first time trying the place. I walked back to the counter where to servers were standing there talking to each other and i waited a little bit for them to acknowledge me.. when they did told them I had a pick up order and before I could even finish my sentence, the girl interrupted me and said "she can help you" and pointed to the lady behind the counter... okay fine... my mistake, wasn't really upset about that. Until the lady, that I guess is the only one in charge of take out customers looks at me and says "yeah who is it for" I told her and she just gave me this (which what I thought) was confused look so I told her what kinda pizza it was and she replied "yeah I know what it is" and slammed my pizza box at me. I'm not a Karen, I served and cooked for many years. I was nice as pie when I went in there and I didn't even say anything to them after they were acting like that but I wish I would have got names. If anyone was running my business like that, I'd wanna know ASAP....
