My extended family and I had a good experience with an escape room here. I was visiting from out of state with family that lived nearby, and I found that this was the closest escape room to them. The business was quick to respond to all the questions I had via Facebook Messenger. We had a large group including several babies, which they accommodated without issue. For a few people in our group it was their first escape room, and I they all came away with a positive experience.

We did the gold mine room as it was the largest one available. It was about the 10th or so escape room I've done, and it had some unique features versus what I've experienced in the past, including a couple surprises. I did like that it had a lot of floor space, so plenty of room for our large group. One thing that didn't work so well was the primary method of communication with the game master. The room had a unique way to communicate that aligned with the theme, but we found that it wasn't very practical and hindered communication a bit. The main reason I would consider this a four-star experience compared to others we've done is the game master was not the best, more going through the motions vs getting is excited about the experience, and their hints were not as helpful as I've experienced elsewhere. Lastly, a key prop in the room didn't quite work correctly (probably needs a little TLC to get it in full working condition).

All that said, we'll probably come here again on a future family visit. It's only an hours' drive from our family get together spot and worth...

We have done three VR rooms now. We generally enjoy these, and had a phenomenal experience with the underwater escape room. No complaints whatsoever. I went home and told everyone I know about it.

However, we tried the asteroid VR escape room a few weeks later, but left disappointed because it was a little glitchy and didn’t work correctly. We got stuck in the first room and the game manager did a poor job of recognizing the game wasn’t working right, and didn’t give extra time nor help, so we ended up only getting a few minutes to try to pass the second level. We also definitely didn’t get our hour worth of game that we paid for, and so we were a little confused about that.

In our latest trip, we did the time travel VR room. It was extremely glitchy and froze no less than ten times. We were able to pass it, but with a few extra tips from the game manager. He did a good job resolving the issues, but the fact that the issues were so persistent made it frustrating because it was very stop and go. The kids, who did the same escape room, had a similar experience.

Overall, I’d recommend this place because it is an engaging experience, but I wish staff would at least apologize for subpar gaming experience when things clearly don’t work correctly. 80% of the time the game is amazing and works fine in our experience. I guess with a limited experience doing this, I don’t know if this is a common thing and an issue that people expect...

Escape room itself like a 3/10 for 34 bucks we walk in get chained to a wall and then escape from there but before the escape room there’s a waiting room the size of a closet that ur told to go into, with a guy who looks like a mannequin laying there , we waited there for like 15 seconds not really knowing what we were supposed to do (there was no instruction , my partner walks into the room and I was about to follow cause we throught that was the next step and this mannequin guy grabs my partners hand and pulls him back honestly weirdly hard, and was like “you just walk into random rooms in other places or random places, “somthing like that it was just off putting and uncomfortable cause like what do u want us to do ur not telling us anything , then somone in our group had to use the bathroom we were told if we really needed to go we could go, this person asks to use the restroom we wait a little bit and no answer so he leaves to go find the bathroom and we here him loudly get talked to about not being allowed to leave , idk it wasn’t the most worst experience ever but for 35$ bucks a person the room was lame the clues were lame the people running the place was lame , very disappointing, lighten ur spirits ur working at...

Atomic escape rooms offered a super fun family experience for my husband and I with his brother and wife! We played the bank heist room and escaped with a little under 10 minutes. The room was well made, the clues were perfect and made sense leading to one another and it definitely wasn’t too easy! We had a couple of times when we were stumped and the game master lead us in a way that wasn’t too revealing and let us still solve it on our own. The other plus is that we were able to book the room for the same day and it was Christmas Eve. Huge shoutout to atomic escape rooms! I would definitely go back to play again!

Excellent place. There were 4 of us and 2 had not done an escape room before so it turns out we did the easy one that had a maximum of 4 players. It was called Killer Collection and our gamemaster was Dalton. They have several other escape room experiences available as well. We had a lot of fun and they even had a remote voice helping us out if requested. We escaped with 8 minutes to spare! Yay! Dalton even stayed around at the end to answer any questions we had. I recommend Atomic Escape Rooms if you are in the Tri Cities area and are looking for a fun time.

My husband and I have gone twice now and had an amazing experience both times! We did the "Killer collection" the first time since it was just the two of us, but we did well with that one so decided to do the "Prospecter Valley Bank Heist" the next time and we were actually able to get out with just us two and only needed a couple of hints. I love that they have rooms with different difficulties, so they have ones for people of all experience levels. We definitely plan to go again and are excited to see what experiences they have in the future!
