Royal Ace — Attraction in Richmond Hill

Always a fast and excellent visit when I come to this store. Rick helped me right when I came through the door. He sent me on my way to the plumbing section as requested. When I got there I was bombarded with choices. I thought I knew exactly what I needed. After another minute or two of looking through what I needed, Rick came by to see if I was doing alright. He told me the size of the pipe I needed, and I found it, but it didn't look like what I needed specifically. Instead, he asked what are you specifically looking at doing, so I explained exactly what it was for, and he brought me to the location of the item I needed exactly just by describing what I needed to do. It was for my kitchen sink.

During the time he helped me, he was able to connect with me by talking about my little girl and knowing how if she was 3 she'd be running around the store with me chasing her, but since she isn't quite 3 yet, he knew because she was right next to mommy.

I noticed a bag of soil on the discounted damaged goods pallet out front so I went and grabbed a shopping cart took it inside pay for it, took it back outside put it in my car was accosted at my car for a pick slip that I didn’t have. I was questioned over and over and over again about where was my pick ticket and I kept saying over and over again I did not have one. The woman employee was completely rude to me and accusatory as if I was a thief! I will never shop at this place again, because even though I paid for my goods, I was still treated like a criminal for zero reason, because when she finally asked the people inside and made a big deal about it over the walkie-talkies , they did confirm that I had paid for the bag of dirt and I did not need a pick ticket. I have never been so embarrassed and humiliated in public by someone that is supposed to be of service to...

Honestly, everything here is way overpriced and the selection isn't that great. People follow you around like your trying to shoplift any will keep bugging you even when you tell them your good to go. I would only recommend this place if you absolutely need something in a pinch, but don't bother on Sunday as they close early that day.

(Added after their "troll" reply) If you are unable to take criticism, then you are not worthy of anyone's business. Maybe instead of attacking customers that found legitimate issues with your place of business, you should instead reflect and maybe improve your service. Your comment only reinforces what I said from the beginning. So for that, I will always take my business to Plantation hardware or Berwick...
