We saw the MJ Musical in 2025, which was wonderful. However, my review is about the Lexus lounge experience. This was a complete joke...it was horrible and the fee to enter is 70.00. Doors open at 5:00 P.M. to the lounge and we arrived at 5:30 P.M. I was told there would be pizza, hot dogs, and plenty of other foods with unlimited access to the foods but there wasn't any pizza or hotdogs when we arrive. You get a ticket with 2 drinks per person, this includes water bottles and drinks at the bar. The popcorn was gone and we were told by the bar lady, there would not be anymore popcorn for the remainder of the day. So, now if we wanted popcorn, we would have to purchase popcorn in the main lobby area but it was supposed to be apart of this experience. The lexus lounge looks nothing like the other states on google. Luckily, I emailed them 2 days before the show to request vegan stuffed mushrooms and vegan black bean burgers but we didn't received any of that. They brought my vegan food items out from the back kitchen area. However, we received, vegan mini chicken nuggets and 4 sliced vegan impossible burgers. There was 3 different tables for food. The tables had tiny fruit cups, 2 different dessert options, a bowl of tortilla chips with a creamed colored dip to go with it, 1 inch of tofu with fregola pasta at the bottom (vegan), 1 mini chicken taquitos stick in a tiny cup. On top of that you have a rude black african american woman behind the bar. This bartender lady was unprofessional, her voice was stern and rude, she even raised her voice loud as she was talking to us. We noticed, that she kept watching us across the room. Then the rude bar lady comes over to our table and tells one of the members at the table, that what she was eating was not vegan. We had to tell her, that not everybody here is vegan and there is only one vegan person at this table. In addition, all of the food is labeled to tell you if it has meat or not. We left the lounge to head to our seats for the MJ musical. During intermission, we went back into the lounge and noticed people were at their tables eating popcorn. We could see 8 new small bags of popcorn, now behind the bar counter with the rude bar lady standing in front of them. I find it very odd, that the popcorn is behind the bar counter and not with the other foods across the room on the tables...it's as if she is policing the small popcorn bags. We asked if we could have some popcorn and 2 of us received small popcorn bags. Thank goodness because we were about to pay for popcorn in the main lobby area. There are 2 nice large private restrooms for both genders to share. We did not use the private coat section. I do not recommend the Lexus Lounge at this location, it is...

We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix Symphony Concert at the Altria Theater, and it was truly unforgettable! The Richmond Symphony Orchestra's performance of the entire movie soundtrack, perfectly synchronized with the film, left us all in awe.
The theater's intimate setting and exceptional acoustics made every note and scene come alive. It's a game-changer - all movies should be experienced this way!
My girlfriend, her family, and I were thoroughly enthralled throughout the evening. The Altria Theater's staff were friendly, efficient, and added to the overall magic.
If you're a Harry Potter fan or just love music and cinema, don't miss future symphony concerts here! Highly recommended for date nights, family outings, or special treats.

Read moreSuch a Beautiful theater! The employees were so nice and accommodating. As soon as we walked in there were several employees guiding us to the right sections. There was an attendant in the elevator making sure we were entertained on our ride and not overly crowded. The handicap seats were wonderful as my dad is a navy veteran and 6”4 so he enjoyed the extra leg room. My elderly neighbor had plenty of room with her walking cane and wheelchair, which she decided to leave at home. The handicap space had chairs that they moved to make room for the wheelchair, but since we didn’t bring it they allowed another gentleman to sit with us giving him more leg room as well. The only downside to the handicap spots is that there was a giant speaker blocking the right side of the stage. So we missed some of the dances that started in the back of the stage. Just be careful to not set drinks or food on the ledge. The watchful attended will come around telling you nothing is allowed in the ledge. We Did splurge on snacks and the popcorn was so good! Perfectly salted and very satisfying! Parking is difficult, we used the university parking garage and it was $10 but took us an hour to actually park with all the traffic. They really should have a traffic cop...
