Art Works Inc — Attraction in Richmond

My personal experience as an artist. In 2023 I joined Art Works Inc as Silver Member. During this time I took part in three exhibitions.

Sold a painting from the exhibition July-August 2023, took second place at the September-October 2023 exhibition, I signed the contract and my paintings are now hanging on the wall in the gallery.

When I came to the gallery for the first time, I had many questions, I was greeted warmly and helped a lot. I also receive support by exhibiting at every new exhibition in the gallery. When selling my painting, all necessary related actions were carried out on time and in accordance with the agreements. I am glad to be part of a structure that helps artists develop and be seen by art collectors and grateful art connoisseurs.

What can I say about this place? At this moment February 2024 my painting is taking part in the All Media Show January-February 2024, in my fourth exhibition at Art Works Inc Art gallery.

Update. July 2024. I continue to collaborate with the gallery; Another of my paintings was sold here. And again, all agreements were fulfilled on time...

I applied for wall space about a week ago and never got any kind of response. I also tried applying for a working studio, no response either despite the promise of a reply within 48 hours. I understand that resources are limited for everyone right now, especially for the arts, but I'm extremely discouraged by this and I'll probably be looking elsewhere.

Edit: Over a month has passed. I was rejected for wall space and referred to their mixed media show (I'm not interested) but the main reason I had contacted them was for a working studio. They didn't even bother to respond to that request. Huge waste of my time.

Edit, again: I just went through both my primary email (in case I entered the wrong one) and the email I provided, spam folders and all. I was never sent anything pertaining to studio space, and there was certainly no invitation for a tour. I'm not interested, don't bother. I can understand a mishap or even a delayed response, but now you're lying to save face and that's extremely...

Being a part of Art Works Inc has been an amazing experience. I joined as a Silver Member in 2023, and since then, I’ve participated in three exhibitions, selling a painting in the July-August show and earning second place in the September-October exhibition. I’m grateful for the warm welcome I received when I first visited, and the continuous support from the gallery with every new exhibition. All actions related to the sale of my painting were carried out professionally and on time. It’s a fantastic place for artists to grow, be seen by art collectors, and connect with others who appreciate art.
