A BEAUTIFUL PARK, built right by the river.....there r an abundance of things to see, hear & do! Bring a kayak & take on the fun of the river....bring children to play on the play ground toys, or try the musical percussion sets built along the river walk.....some days, just sitting on a bench by the river, watching the Mallard ducks & Canadian geese swim by, is a serene treat. There r picnic tables, benches, fixed grills to use, or, bring your own! The Jaycee Park also features a clean pavilion, basket ball court, an outdoor theatre for featured events......for those looking for a different kind of fun not usually found in a park, there is a sand Volley Ball court! If looking for an adventure, take the river walk all the way to Grand Ledge's Island which features a Grand Gazebo, built by one of Grand Ledge's own years ago! Need a little more adventure?.....instead of crossing the foot bridge onto the Island, take a left & look closely, you will see the wood chip trail, the one that goes straight to the famous Ledge's! All of this is kept up daily by the City of Grand Ledge. What great summer fun to be had....come by...

They will build an outdoor small amphitheater that maybe seats 1,500, an area for farmers market events, a new improve boat launch with a parking lot that will make it easier and more inviting for people to bring their boats, pontoons, kayaks, and canoes to enjoy what Grand Ledge has to offer with the Grand River running through it. It will be exciting and lots more to come making Jaycee Park a hot spot in Grand Ledge. Also, its where the Grand Adventure Race takes place and starts...

Nothing to do about that but just be careful when...
