Staff very friendly and nice. They did raffle for comic con tix. Tried to win. But won 2 other prizes. Magic the gathering cards starter pack. Then after talking with a few people the guy at the counter gave me a few boosters packs. Wow so cool. I remember in school other kids had the magic cards and I have always wanted to check them out. So now I can finally play. Plus Friday nights they have a group of magic the gathering games. Plus Q106 Terry Steven's was there big reason I came. I won the comic con tix from Q106. I will definitely be back to get to learn magic card game. Can't wait!!!!

The owner and employees are super nice. I have yet to stop by during their MTG nights (super trying to, all things considered), but being part of the store discord shows their community involvement. They also sometimes have niche manga that's not sold at Barnes/Schulers (due to being old) that my roommate likes, and we end up just buying it all whenever we are there lol. If you have any old manga you know you aren't using, feel free to donate...

The GL Book Exchange has a nice selection of various items, from miniatures to rpg books. In addition, there are novels, cd's and movie selections here. And although selection can be limited in any one specific area, there is a lot of variety for such a small store. I have never left empty-handed. I primarily recommend this store for browsing and spontaneous buys; it is always worth the trip for me.
