Riverdale Splash Pad — Attraction in Riverdale

The Riverdale splash pad has several good qualities and some clear limitations. Pros: the splash pad faces away from the road so you feel a lot safer with your children than you would if creeps and other people could drive by and check on your or your children. There is a ton of space for picnics and games all around the splash pad. There are reservable tables and covered areas if you want to mix things up.

This splash pad is surrounded by a small white picket fence on 3 sides, which I love. It's also wheelchair accessible. There are water features that appeal to babies and toddlers and plenty for big kids too. The giant trees provide plenty of shade all day. The benches are shaded in the late afternoon and evening. The standard for what all parks should be. The walking path is large and lots of big trees, nice pavilions for group events as well.

The big kid and little kid playgrounds have great equipment. Splash pad also has great features for the different ages.

Just wish parents would watch their kids. Kids were bringing sharpies to draw all over the equipment while their parents sat idle...
