Harbor Freight — Local services in Riverdale

My husband went in just now to purchase a chainsaw. Online it stated it was in stock. Firstly he had to pick up an item tag on the shelf and then bring it to the associate in order to purchase the chainsaw. Well, he got the tag and then waited over 15 minutes in line to be helped. When he finally did get to the front, the woman at the register was very flustered and short with him. She scanned the tag and said, "Oh, it's out of stock, NEXT!" Without even talking to my husband. So they either need more staff or they need more competent staff who don't get overwhelmed with their current volume of customers.

I'm not sure what is more disturbing; That google shamelessly asks me to rate harbor freight because it doesn't even care if I know it knows everything I do Or That it wants me to rate Harbor Freight.

Who rates Harbor Freight?

It is kind of like If google said "I see you were just in the dumpster behind the bakery. How would you rate your experience? " I guess I would rate that experience 5 stars or 1 star- depending on if I found bread or not. The bigger point is that I would prefer not to be reminded about my time in the dumpster

With that in mind I guess I would rate Harbor Freight 4 out of 5 stars. Because there was definitely some freight in there. No harbor though.

Harbor freight is a great choice for budget tools. I've never had a tool fail on me yet, and I've gotten many items from them and will continue to do so. My reasoning for this low rating is the consistency in which the items I have purchased have had missing or broken parts. I assume if the employees at specifically the riverdale location actually looked over returned items to make sure everything was complete and operated properly, I would never have this issue. However, I have had to return after every purchase so far in order to replace the item or get the missing part.
