This park has big beautiful trees and a splash pad which is nice. The bathroom is located directly next to the splash pad however, there was no toilet paper and no soap in the bathroom in June which is peak season. There are currently 2 playgrounds near each other. One for little kids and one for bigger kids which is a nice touch, however, the swings are all located on the big kid play ground which makes it difficult if you have a little one. My 4 year old nearly got trampled by older kids several times while near the swings even with me standing right next to him, and of course he wanted to go on the big kid playground while we were on that side. I understand that it is not the city's fault that older kids are not careful, however, it is poorly planned to have 2 playgrounds and have all the swings on the big kid playground. I would have rated this park higher if they had swings on the little kid...

Garbage cans are almost always overflowing and the splash pad is almost never running. Dogs aren’t allowed anywhere but the hot and rough asphalt trail which is extremely hard on their paws. Do better Riverdale city. Better upkeep and fewer...
