The Upper Deck Batting Range — Attraction in Riverdale

We visited Upper Deck Batting Range yesterday for fun around 3 PM. It was my first time trying the batting cage. Trina was really sweet and helpful by explaining how pricing worked and ensuring that we had what we needed at the cages. They also have a loyalty rewards card that allows you to get free swings (the $5 option) after a certain amount of visits. You can stamp your card one time per visit to earn the free swings. They also sold gloves and an array of snacks and drinks including popcorn and Italian ice. They provided baseball bats and helmets and had seating available with tables to hold your items. For all slow pitch softball players on the south side of Atlanta, this is the place to go to practice your swing. I met the manager and she was very friendly and helpful. Restrooms are on site as well. You can bring your own food, listen to music, and eat in between at bats if you like. For only $20 I got 200 pitches which was enough for 3 people. If you’re alone $10 is plenty enough to get your swing right and a little tired. They’re open till 8pm every day but Sunday. Great activity for family. We were looking for something to do as a family and we’re glad we found this place. We could’ve spent all day there with our family of 5. We’ll definitely be back again because of the affordability and the great customer service by the employee in the office who was very friendly.
