Da Royal Vegan — Restaurant in Riverdale

IM HURT Y'ALL Da Royal Vegan Led me on.... I was so excited to see a new vegan restaurant near the Fayetteville community. Its also black owned and I was happy to support.. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE...... Had to read the menu on my phone no printed or posted menus. Mediocre and overpriced food. It even smells underwhelming. Found out later from online reviews that not all menu items are vegan! What!! You can have vegan in the title and not be 100% Vegan. My kids have food allergies you can't' mislead people like this! 10pc Boneless wings more like Dollar Tree chicken nuggets $20 Chicken tender sandwich three Dollar Tree chicken nuggets with two pieces of lettuce $10 add a slice of vegan cheese $2. Had a $13 burger that tasted like we made it at home. Sorry make that $15 because we had to add $2 for a slice of vegan cheese SMH. I had brown rice with mushroom onion and green pepper. Small portion and the onions tasted raw $19. Have been vegan for 10 years I pay big money for vegan food all the time but it has to taste good and the potions must be fair. I don't think that this place is ran by actual vegans. I don't know what in Hell me and my family ate today. Do better or this business is...

Definitely didn't have a great experience here. It was empty so I should've known. It started from the minute we walked in to order we couldn't even use the bathroom until we paid we had to go somewhere else to use the bathroom but ok I was being understanding of that but then we ordered a egg and cheese a burger pancakes and the boneless wings when I was double checking what I ordered I noticed the wings said "vegetarian" I didn't pay this any mind before because the place is called "da royal VEGAN" so my fault for being trusting. I know sometimes businesses use vegetarian to cover any liabilities but I confirmed with her then that the nuggets were in fact vegetarian and had milk in them. So then they come out and I asked her if I could ask least get something else since the nuggets were expensive but she said no. This was our 1st time coming here and we definitely wont be back. we had to drive to another vegan restaurant to get food for our kids considering those nuggets were for them. Not to mention the rest of the food was trash. Wasnt even worth the stress. Definitely would recommend this business lightening up a little and being more human to their...

6/3/25 We really enjoyed our food. We dined in and got some food to go.

Dine in: • BBQ Mushroom Burger- It was juicy and delicious, tasted just like thebreal dealnfor all of those whos palate is not used of veganndishes. I also added cheese to mine. ° Spicy Cleopatra Burger- I enjoyed the veggies on the sandwich but could have used more flavor on the actual patty. Would have also liked for the sandwich to be more moist. To compensate for for that I ordered a side of BBQ sauce.

Drinks: Limeaide- We loved the limeade. Don't think I've had anything like it and we've had a lot. Mango Passion- We loved this smoothie also. It had a wonderful consistency and taste.

ToGo: Nachos- Our least favorite of everything. Because it was our meal for later ww had them separate the chips from the sauce, they had no problem accommodating our request.

Double cheese burger- i added bacon . It was good but I would prefer for the bun to be a little more soft. Put side of the the meat was juicy and the veggies were fresh.
