Panda Express — Restaurant in Riverdale

After morning errands, I stopped at Panda Express for lunch. When I arrived there were 2 people ahead of me. The total wait time was over 40 minutes. I ordered the Sesame Honey chicken but they ran out of that menu item and the fried rice. No problem. But a group of Asians came in and the server decided to get their order taken care of despite the fact that one couple ahead of me and my food was prepared and ready on the steam table. The server said, “From here to here, I serve (meaning the people behind the couple and myself had to continue to wait while she served the Asians behind us in the line that hadn’t waited 1/2 as long as we had.) Both myself and the couple left without food order—it was unorganized, chaotic and lacked respect for people who had been waiting and food was ready but still had to continue to wait while the Asian group was served. A male served as the cashier and server—he handled money and returned to the serving table to prepare food. I called him out and he got upset; albeit, he did wash his hands. I have no problem with waiting and find it refreshing since I know the food will be fresh and overall busyness is good for business. However, focusing on serving guest who came behind the people who have waiting in line for an exorbitant amount of time is ludicrous. This policy needs to be addressed....

This panda use to be so so good I haven't been to this spot in about 9 months I went today through the drive through I was so hungry so I ordered the usual the bigger plate with the orange chicken bejein beef and the siracha shrimp and large fanta which was the only beverage they had no other flavor so I pulled over to eat it smelled really good so I started eating the rice it was like 5 days old believe me I cook way to much to know old rice it was lumpy dry definitely not fresh the beef was old and hard to chew I ate some of it because I was hungry and until I had enough of the old dry taste I really can't even give them a star this location food is disgusting well I guess we can expect that because it's 100% black area so they think they could feed us anything are to stupid to know the difference visit another location I live in Cobb county stop by that location and see how big of a difference it is food always fresh not frozen for the next day I'm very disappointed because this location will not last another year the way there food taste such a waste when they started out so good so help me to exploit this place of so called business we deserve way way better to be serve food that's at least 5 or six days old I mean really I know...

The food is good overall. However, I feel the mall Panda Express has more options for rice and meats unless those extra menu items are things the mall added and not Panda Express. On my last visit it wasn't the best. I ordered my food and was asked what type of egg roll I would like and was given 2 choices. I made my choice and proceeded to to the cashier. Come to find out the egg rolls were extra 🤔. I asked the cashier why did the line server ask me which egg roll I wanted as if it came with my meal? She replied they have to ask. I've worked in the food industry for a while and I do know they want you to "upsale" BUT we are to tell the customers it will be an extra charge. I feel they tried to trick me into making a purchase without disclosing the egg roll is extra. Moving on, i was with my boyfriend and he asked for Duck Sauce. The cashier seemed dumbfounded as she didn't know the term Duck Sauce. Maybe she didn't but Duck Sauce is very common in the Asian, Chinese, etc food industry.
