Riverdale Town Center — Local services in Riverdale

Had the most horrible experience at the amphitheater at this venue on 7/16/2016. Paid for $75 per person for VIP table seats because of health reasons. When we first arrived the area was corded off. Tickets were checked and we were escorted to our table. All was well through the opening acts. However, when the main act came on, all of the people from the general admissions sections came rushing down, pushing people seated at our table out of the way. And this was allowed. They filled in in front of us so we were unable to see the show at all. People were asking if our table was free and could they put their drinks there. All of the while, myself and some of the other people at our table are in disbelief. I was nearly brought to tears knowing that I paid all of this extra money for these seats only to not be able to see the performer I came to see. Seeing my distress, another patron came up to our table and explained that she too had experienced what we were experienced. That she use to pay for VIP access only to have the same thing happen so she started buying general admission and just coming down front. My thought then was what was the point of paying extra money for table seating when it means nothing. Also, I have safety concerns about these situations. if this happens regularly at this venue, anyone in a wheelchair or on crutches or with a cane WILL seriously get hurt. If a disabled person had been sitting on the other side of the table I sat at, they would have been trampled by the crowed. Please DO NOT waste your money table seating for events at this venue. You will be highly disappointed and potentially put in physical harm because apparently there is no security to maintain the separation. I love the Town Center, I usually come here to walk in the morning time and you can see other people walking as well individually or a group of people. Once in awhile there are some stray dogs that walk around but they don't seem to attack anyone. On certain days it's busy with parking because it's court day. I walk here because of the convenience and there's traffic so it's tends to be more safer and they have cameras around the building, the bathroom inside the facility is extremely clean and smells great. The employees have great customer service. On certain days they have a festive events like concerts, Halloween events for the children in the area. They have inside activities as well such as exercising, basketball and activity room for the children. Also they do certain decorations outside for certain holidays such as Christmas and Veteran's Day. The facility is kept clean you can usually see employees outside cleaning up or the lawn people outside taking care of...

Extremely nice facility...Reasonable rates to participate in multiple activities...They offer a variety of instructional classes such as Yoga, Kickboxing, Zumba and even Step dancing...I took a group to go ice skating, and they had an amazing time...Ice skating rink will be taken down on Saturday, 1/4/20, but they bring it back yearly during the holiday season...However, the ice skating rink will be open today at 12pm, & the cost which includes skates for 12 & older is only $5...Front desk clerk was very pleasant, & extremely helpful...I'd definitely recommend looking at the various programs that they offer throughout the year...Lastly, if you had a live tree for the holidays, please drop them off at this location as they will dispose of them on your behalf...This truly is another hidden gem in...
