New City Buffet and Cajun Seafood — Restaurant in Riverdale

When I tell you, you already go into these places and you eat so you have to pay right that’s not our responsibility to give tips to the waitress that is for day job day owner but this particular lady she was very rude this day right here and I kept calling the manager over there. She walked by my table Back-and-forth and she knew that my stuff that was trash supposed to been off my table she never came and filled my cup for a drink and I always go here. I don’t know what’s up with her. I will never let her treat me like this again so every time I go here, I would never want her to be my waitress again, she was very disrespectful. She was very nasty come over there and literally went off on her and she still did the same thing so I’m telling you from this video I would like for you guys to know if you don’t give her nothing. She’s very nasty and I told her that I was gonna put her on here the incident that happened and I know I used to post this place all the time and other places as well but she just gave me a bad five and very poor Customer Service if you don’t have anything to give her and you constantly go she would not like you For that reason, but I don’t understand and I have been going to this place for two years now I like the place they got good food, but it’s the waitress. Some of them is ridiculous but I know about her. It’s a lot of them and her is very kindhearted, but she is harsh, very harsh and she got a bad attitude. I’m not telling y’all to don’t go here because it’s got great food. I always posted but she just not the person that you wanna kick it with or be your waitress and you don’t have anything to give her the economy is already bad enough and you can go somewhere and get a buffet and some food and be able to pay for that I think that’s good enough, we don’t supposed to pay for everything especially for the waitress that day. This place is usually amazing when my mother and I go here to eat at any time in the day. But today the waitress literally try to scam us. First she kept hovering us and wouldn't even let us finish dining 15 minutes in before pressuring us with the bill. I handed her my card and not even a whole minute like too quick for a card to be inserted and brought back, she came back saying "the wifi is down. Cash?" When we told her we didn't have cash and only cards and ask could we try a different register because no one else was experiencing this problem. she said give her my number to Cash app. CASH APP?? The same app that requires wifi or a card correct? I told her no and left my mother walking to the next door store and getting the cash. On my way out i was watching other pay with card at the front desk. The only thing she kept saying since we been there was tip. Tip. Tip. For 15 minutes. So when I came back from the store next door I had the mind to still tip because i was thinking it wasnt her fault if the wifi went down but when I asked for my total again she wouldn't give me the paper that had my total which was 43.29 before i left. No she was guessing saying 45 or 46 dollars. So I gave her 44 dollars and left with my mother. Since she wanted a tip so bad I gave her the tip of the service I felt. AND GUESS WHAT? As we're walking out the door she cashes the money we gave her then proceed to take a man's card to pay for their meal. But you said the wifi was down? When we walked outside it was 3 other family she tried to do this to them too but the people across the restaurant was paying card they said....

1st time here. Came on a Sundy around 2:30 p.m. with my fiancé. It had a small line, but we didn't wait longer than 10 mins. There were plenty of choices to choose from. I enjoyed every savory dish I ate (I'm not too fond of sweet meat dishes unless it's bbq). The fried crab was delicious. I didn't have a chance to taste all their seafood dishes because I went in to try my favorite dishes that I normally eat at the buffet in Austell, GA (#1 in my book). I wanted to see if there were any other buffets that are as good as the Chinese buffett in Austell (and we've tried MANY around GA), and this is definitely 2nd runner-up. I read many reviews about wait staff pressuring for tips and being rude and/or lazy about refilling drinks and not taking finished plates off the table. We encountered NONE of that. Our waitress was kind and very attentive at all times to our table and other tables. No pressuring for tips or standing around waiting to see what the tip amount would be. All in all, if I would give anything there a so-so rate food wise, it would be the sushi. Other than that, EVERYTHING I tried and my fiancé as well, we enjoyed. Temperature and seasonings were on point. Only thing that slightly bothered me was the table was kind of sticky and the floor under our table had food under it and the lamp that hung over our table was full of dust bunnies...other then that, if I'm on that side of town to visit my mom, I'll definitely hit that spot up again.
