Aldi is my grocery store of choice for high quality cheeses at shockingly low prices. For a very small grocery store, I’m always surprised that they have everything I need, but their other items can be hit or miss. I find that their produce goes bad faster than most grocery stores and their meat is sloppily butchered. The prices can’t be beat and for those items. It’s a “get what you pay for” situation, but the cheese selection really is unparalleled. I’m a broke girl burdened with the palette of a ritzy cheese monger and their cheese truly holds up. There’s some occasional items that are also really quite phenomenal like the naan, chocolate brioche and dark chocolate bars, but the cheese is really why I go. If you’ve never been to an Aldi bring a quarter for your shopping cart (you get it back when you return it) as well as your own shopping bags. These are small ways that Aldi keeps prices low. It seems like a nuisance, but it’s all part of the Aldi experience and actually reminds me of when I used to grocery shop in Eastern Europe. Also they might stock some items consistently, but don’t be surprised if they don’t have the same...
Read moreThe Robinson Audi's just opened up this week after being closed for remodeling for a month. Having a disorder where my son and I can't eat gluten I needed to stock back up on there wonderful gluten free products. They use to have a wide variety of tasty and easy on the wallet GF products. All they have now is one end cap of GF products. I was soooo disappointed. Their was 3 different people standing at the GF end cap going "is that it" "where are all the GF products",. Most of all they discontinued there GF flour and baking mix. Flour is a basic need for home cooking. But they have tons of floor space for household items. Is Aldi's a grocery store or a Dollar General? Well I guess it is off to Giant Eagle for the people in my area for gluten free products. Soooo upset with Aldi's. It isn't really worth going shopping...
Read moreIt was just fantastic!!!! And, most of all I saved soooooo much money. It put me in such a good mood. The produce was the best ever. I was only at that Aldi once before, years ago. I use to go to Aldi in Carnegie and Bridgeville. And, I do have to say, to be honest, there is no comparison. But, I always did like all the Aldi's I've visited , only this one tops both. I will be going back next week, absolutely. The reason why is because I can afford to now. Believe me if I went to Giant Eagle, like I usually do, the beginning of the month, I would have not been able to until next month. I am so glad and grateful and finally happy.!!!! And, I can't forget to mention how nice and helpful the people and employees are. Thank you so much for helping me have great and happy day, it has been a while since I...
