Art Heads Emporium — Attraction in Rochester

I just threw a baby shower for a friend at Canvas and Chardonnay and had a wonderful experience! They answered my questions throw email and phone calls quickly and were very flexible with the registration process. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when I was setting up the food and drinks for our group. The class was sold out so there was not a lot of room for the food and drinks we brought but we did bring an excessive amount of food and the staff was very helpful in helping us maximize the space. They did not rush us out and let us use the couch area for gift opening. Everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you C&C for making this so easy and such a great experience for everyone!!! My partner and my sister surprised me with a night at C and C for my birthday. We were very excited about the project but felt quickly deflated when we realized there wouldn't be enough time to finish the project. So we left that night with unfinished projects, no material to finish them at home, and $125 less dollars in our wallets. When we approached the owner about this she offered gift certificates that she never sent and a bunch of "I can't be bothered" and "I don't care" emails when we inquired with her as to their whereabouts. This was a situation that could have been easily resolved and made right by her, but turned into a horrific customer service experience that left a very bad taste in our mouths. We love Canvas & Chardonnay!! I have attended two classes with a friend and both times were such a pleasant experience. Coming from no art background, I really appreciated the level of direction and encouragement offered by the class teachers. I also feel like guidance, though available at any time, is provided with a great balance of allowing attendees to chit chat/explore on their own while maintaining quality instructive advice. It felt like a safe activity to do during COVID times, and I really appreciate this place for bringing the community together in such an expressive, peaceful way.
