Galleria At University Square — Local services in Rochester

I think that although conveniently located near the Mayo Clinic, the stores are vastly overpriced. Which bothers me primarily because it is located so close to the Mayo Clinic and individuals who often are strangers to the city and don't have transportation. Having been in both of these positions, maybe I'm especially sensitive to the plight of individuals, patients and the family of patients and the financial contraints many of them face. It's an ok place to wander around if you're trying to kill time between appointments. There are a few shops, but mostly fast food eateries and some sit down restaurants. I tend to go to Chester's. The shops themselves aren't really anything special. They are mostly kitschy. There isn't anything with a brand name. It is mostly local brand shops and not really a mall. Again, it's ok if you're interested in killing time, but the shops aren't really that special. I feel like they have an older vibe about them. Not a place where younger people would shop.
